Serena Williams gets scolded by Honda Classic security for taking photo of Tiger Woods

Serena Williams should know all about spectator etiquette when it comes to sporting events.  After all, the former No. 1 women's tennis player in the world would glare at any fan who dared to clap or snap a photo while she was getting ready to serve.

Apparently Williams doesn't think the same manners apply to her after she found out she wasn't allowed to grab a picture of Tiger Woods while he sets up for a tee shot.

In a unusual reversal of status, as the pampered tennis star raised her camera near the 17th tee box at the Honda Classic Friday afternoon to shoot a photo of Woods, security descended on Williams to keep her from disturbing the notoriously grumpy golfer — just like they would with any ordinary fan in the gallery.

Williams took the picture anyway and posted it on her Twitter account with this backhanded shot:

"Apparently u can't take pictures of golfers.  In my defense peeps always take pics of tennis players."

Williams apparently knew she was out of bounds by taking the photo beforehand and tweeted her excitement to see Woods on the course. She was also served a warning from security.

She tweeted her assessment of the situation:

Golf doesn't care if you have 15 major tennis titles to your credit, this is Tiger Woods taking a shot here.
