LeBron James sends out cute 'Save The Date' wedding announcement

LeBron James has finally announced a wedding date with Savannah Brinson — his longtime fiancee and mother of their two children — and even the "Save The Date" invitation they sent out makes the whole affair look like it will be a high-flying affair.

TMZ got their hands on a copy of the invite which instructs his friends and family to clear the calender for the weekend of Sept. 13 through 15 and make travel plans to San Diego — where the wedding will take place.

The informal "Save The Date" invite even comes with a caricature of King James, Savannah and the smiling kids, LeBron Jr. and Bryce, hanging on to a plane soaring over what looks like the state flag of Ohio.

The couple has been engaged since 2011 and this announcement definitely puts the kibosh any recent rumors that the relationship has been strained.

The one problem is the date, says TMZ. Because Sept. 13 is the beginning of Yom Kippur — a high holy day in the Jewish religion where Hebrews are supposed to fast for roughly 24 hours.

The Miami Heat star probably got the holiday weekend discount on the catering hall.

    1. Yes it is a flag of The Great State OF Ohio. Shows how bad a journalist they are when they don't check their facts.

  3. An NBA player marrying neither a gringa nor a latina - amazing! Moreover, I am sure he will remain faithful to his wife while on the road! This is the kind of role model young people really need...
