New Jersey HS wrestler finishes career with 170-0 record and 4 straight individual titles

Anthony Ashnault just finished what you call perfection in the sport of high school wrestling — or in anything for that matter.

The South Plainfield, N.J. senior won the 138-pound weight class state title Sunday by defeating Gary Dinmore of Hunterdon Central, 4-2, to become the first wrestler in New Jersey history to win four individual state wrestling titles and go undefeated his entire career.

The Rutgers-bound Ashnault celebrated after winning the title in Atlantic City and finishing his spectacular career with a incredible 170-0 record.

That's four years — through injuries, illnesses and studies — without losing in the wrestling powerhouse state of Jersey.  Impressive.
