Things couldn't get any brighter for Tiger Woods after he won the Cadillac Championship Golf Tournament Sunday and celebrated the big win on his private yacht that night. Or could they?
According to the Daily Mail.com, U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn stowed away on the 155-foot vessel named "Privacy" the entire week while the golfer hit the links at the Doral course. The love nest was tucked away in a marina about 10 miles from the from the Blue Monster.
Photos show both Vonn — who is still recovering from knee surgery — and Woods separately being escorted to the $25 million boat via golf carts.
This is the same ship Woods ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, refused to take in her $110 million divorce settlement. She cited the $2 million annual maintenance cost — including 13 full-time crew members— as a little too much to handle. I guess Woods is happy he didn't unload the love boat on her now.
The 38-year-old Woods has made great strides in his golf game over the last 18 months and looks ready to take his perch as the top golfer in the world once again — and maybe Vonn has something to do with it. His ranking has coincidentally jumped from career lows to being one of the two top golfers in the world since the pair have become close.
The couple had been secretly dating since the end of last year. It was Woods who sent his private jet to Austria and flew Vonn back to the U.S. for surgery after shredding her knee at the Alpine World Championship in early February.
Vonn recently began divorce proceedings with her husband Thomas Vonn after four years of marriage.
Private jets and fabulous yachts — I guess a woman could get used to it.
Good Luck to both of them. I hope the media will let them enjoy their time together without being pests..We all have the right to PRIVACY...
