While Tim Tebow was only an extra in that classic movie comedy, That Wildcat Season, one Hollywood producer thinks the New York Jets quarterback has what it takes to be a star.
According to TMZ, faith-based indie producer David Dginguerian wants the Christian NFL player to star in his next project.
Dginguerian, the man behind the religious 2012 film "Crossroad," wrote in a letter to Tebow, "You are an inspiration to so many on the field and off and I am certain that your passion will also come through in films."
Charlton Heston — wherever you are — look out.
It is unclear what the project is specifically about or how much Tebow will be paid for the role, but it's a good possibility that he might be available next fall.
