Answering a question after Sunday night Packers' 27-17 victory over the Seahawks at Lambeau Field, Rodgers said: "And then getting help from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight, so he was taking care of us."

And Rodger's particular choice of words could only be taken as a shot at Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson — since it was eight months ago that the Seahawks beat the Packers in the NFC Championship Game — a dramatic comeback win that Wilson credited to God.
As you might recall, the devout Wilson was in joyful tears after the NFC Championship victory.
And Rodgers? He previously said on his ESPN Milwaukee radio show that he did not think any sort of Devine Intervention played a part in the outcome.
"I don't think God cares a whole lot about the outcome," Rodgers, the non-believer, said. "He cares about the people involved, but I don't think he's a big football fan."
Then why are church services always over by kickoff time Sunday afternoons?
