Female cyclist turns the tables by pinching man's bottom at podium

Australian cyclist Loren Rowney turned the tables on men's biker Peter Sagan by pinching the rear end of an official while standing at the winner's podium.

After a grinning Sagan grabbed the rear end of hostess Maja Leye while he was on the podium after the Tour of Flanders race on March 31, he was widely criticized by women and cycling fans in general for the ill-advised "joke."

The 23-year-old Sagan later posted a video apologizing for the offensive pinch  even though many of his fellow Slovaks came out in support of him.

The female cyclist's public grab of the bottom of a young male official after Saturday's Redlands Bicycle Classic  in Northern California was clearly in jest and is unlikely to create the uproar Sagan's did.

Rowney — who goes by the nickname "Scrappy" — finished third in the race. The Aussie later tweeted: "I don't think the poor guy has any clue what was going on."

Yay for equality.
