Police reportedly use tear gas to quell West Virginia celebrations (VIDEO)

West Virginia fans have a reputation for some of the craziest and most inflammatory celebrations of any fanbase in college football.



So it was no surprise that  Mountaineer fans once again took to the streets of Morgantown— matches in hand — after their team's 41-27 upset over No. 4 Baylor by setting fire to couches and numerous other objects. And not long after, the images started popping up on social media.



The only problem with the traditional celebratory festivities was that it prompted a response from local police — which reportedly included some in riot gear. And you can hear what sounds like tear gas canisters being fired in the video below:



Considering it was the biggest regular season win of the Dana Holgorsen era, things actually look relatively calm.
