NHL referee helmet cameras make regular season debut (VIDEO)

If you've ever wanted to get a center ice view of an NHL game, but never had an opportunity to lace 'em up, here's your chance to see what you've been missing.

For some games this season, the NHL, partnering with GoPro, will mount cameras on the zebras' helmets for various match-ups this season.

For the league's opening night, officials wore cameras on their helmets for the two Canadian broadcasts on Sportsnet Wednesday night. The results were pretty cool. eh?

Yay hockey.
