During Wednesday night's game against the Twins, Rangers rookie Luis Sardinas flipped his bat and proudly took his first Major League walk:
But there was a little problem — although Minnesota pitcher Kyle Gibson had in fact thrown a ball — Sardinas forgot the count and it was only 3-2:
On the next pitch, Sardinas flew out to left field, forcing him to take an even longer walk back to the dugout where the rest of the Rangers had a good laugh before showing the 21-year-old a little love.
