It was the bottom of the ninth in Tuesday night's Dodgers-Mets four-hour marathon. The Mets were down 9-4, with one out left before the few Mets fans remaining in Citi Field would do their sad shuffle for the No. 7 train.
But this little girl would not give up on her team, no matter how futile it seemed:
The young lady's range of expressions run from innocent passion to wild-eyed desperation and finally flapping her arms like she wanted to fly away.
Adorable but, at the same time, frightening.
