Adam Jones takes out hitless night on batting helmet

Adam Jones had a rough night against the New York Yankees Friday but it looks like his batting helmet had it tougher.

After striking out against Ivan Nova during last night's 3-2 loss at Yankee Stadium, the Baltimore Orioles slugger did something with his bat he couldn't do all night — hit something.

Jones took out his 0-for-4 frustration out on his helmet as he walked down the runway and bashed the helpless head gear into the clubhouse.  His bat soon followed.

After the game, Jones tweeted about the night — probably sans helmet.
