Chris 'Birdman' Andersen's NBA championship bobblehead is missing something important

It didn't take long — after the Miami Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs in an epic Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals to earn their second consecutive NBA championship Thursday night — for the league's online store to put up a treasure-trove of title-themed items up for sale while fickle Heat fans were still in their frenzied state.

There's lots of the usual collectibles — pennants, rally towels, magnets, decals — but the real prizes are the collectible bobbleheads depicting members of the Heat cradling the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in their arms.

In its haste to market the win, the league's $29.95 bobblehead version of reserve center Chris Andersen seems to be missing something important. At first glance the Birdman's mohawk is fairly accurate and the bobbleface sort of looks like the player, but the mini-version of Anderson is devoid of his most visible feature — the tattoos!  All 324 of them!

We know these collectible figures, made in the likeness of the players, are more cartoon than lifelike, but how can you forget Andersen's infamous ink work?

My guess.  The Birdman bobblehead comes with a coloring kit where you get to play tattoo artist and draw your own designs on the bare-skinned plastic body.

Where's that tiny brush?
