Mets' Nieuwenhuis gets creamed by REAL pie after walk-off homer

Kirk Nieuwenhuis crushed a Carlos Marmol fastball for a three-run, walk-off home run to give the New York Mets a 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs at Citi Field Sunday.

As is the tradition of getting a shaving cream pie in the face during the post-game interview, the Mets' hero did not go unscathed.  The only difference was old Newie got a real apple pie in the puss.

Justin Turner had the honors of smushing the Entenmann's in his teammate's face.

Victory probably never tasted so sweet for the Mets centerfielder. Well at least compared to a mouthful of Barbasol.
