Jersey native Todd Frazier honors Gandolfini by walking to plate using 'The Sopranos' theme song

The sudden passing of actor and New Jersey icon James Gandolfini touched a lot of people's hearts and the outpouring of sympathy for the family's loss has been overwhelming — especially in the Garden State.

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier, another Jersey guy by way of Rutgers as well, decided to honor Gandolfini by playing "The Sopranos" theme song as he stepped up to the plate on Thursday.

It was a nice way for the Toms River native to pay tribute to a fellow Rutgers alum inside the Great American Ball Park.

That's the Jersey way.
