Players can't catch stray cat at minor league game

Minor league teams are well-known for their outrageous and sometimes outlandish promotions on the field to draw fans through the gates.  And sometimes, there's a happenstance that is more fun than what was on the agenda.

That's what occurred when a stray cat got loose during Sunday's Hillsboro Hops-Everett AquaSox Class A game.  Players had trouble outsmarting and outrunning the rogue feline in its efforts to escape capture.

This black and white kitty didn't leave without reversing roles and playing cat and mouse with the players for a while.
