Victor Cruz caught in middle of nightclub raid

Victor Cruz had his dance card shortened the other night after cops raided a Manhattan night club where the New York Giants receiver was celebrating with friends after signing a new tender with the team last week.

Cruz was reportedly in the wrong place at the wrong time, according to The New York Post, when the NYPD came down on the Meatpacking hot spot Stash, located below Snap sports bar on West 14th Street at 1:30 Friday morning.

“Victor was at a table surrounded by a group of friends and some girls,” a witness told Page Six of The Post. “He was ordering Champagne for everyone, partying, having a good time, but then the police came in and stopped the party.” We’re told police were “ID-ing everyone, shining flashlights all over the place. It was a very uncomfortable situation,” continues our spy. “Cruz had to sit idly by and seemed very awkward and nervous.”

Bar owner Matthew Isaacs confirms Cruz was there but tells us the police raid was just a routine inspection that happens about every six months.

“It’s a shame because it was a really good party, but they had to turn out the lights, which makes people file out to other places in the neighborhood,” the witness said.

That was one Big Blue line sweeping the bar that Cruz probably wishes had names like Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul.
