Alex Rodriguez is a busy man this offseason. In between vacationing down in Cabo with his girl, Torrie Wilson, hip surgery and being the focus of Major League Baseball's investigation of a reported PED pusher, A-Rod was also trying to unload his 20,000 square-foot Miami mansion.
When the New York Yankees slugger didn't get any offers near the $38 million asking price for the waterfront home overlooking Biscayne Bay, he took it off the market in mid-January and rented it out for more than $125,000 a month, sources said.
The estate comes equipped with 16 security cameras, 275-feet of water frontage, a gym with sauna and steam rooms and an outdoor pool. Paintings of A-Rod as a Centaur/Minotaur are probably optional.
While Rodriguez's public relations team defends him against the PED claims surrounding an anti-aging clinic, the slugger has already packed his bags and set them outside the house.
Neither Rodriguez or his Miami real estate broker, Mayi de la Vega of Sotheby's International Realty were available for comment.
You think MLB would like to know what could be in those bags?
