Auburn students flip off Marshall Henderson while he taunts them

You want to know why Marshall Henderson might be the most polarizing player in college basketball?

It could it be that the junior guard from Ole Miss can hit game-winning foul shots, even on an off-night and, more likely, that he can also touch a nerve with even the most casual basketball fans in the SEC.

Yesterday he did both.

After making the winning free throws with 6.3 seconds remaining during his team's 63-61 win over Auburn, Henderson went over to the Tigers student section, lifted his jersey and flashed his nips at the orange-shirted fans while letting them know he just won the game for his team in their house.

The pumped-up Tiger fans reacted as any other self respecting college kids would if an opposing player entered their den — by flipping Henderson off, tossing various objects at his head and spewing a steady stream of X-rated words in his direction.

See the incredible seconds for yourself.

Henderson — who leads the SEC in scoring with 19.2 points per game — finished Saturday's  game with a sub-par 15 points on 4-for-15 shooting. He still led the Rebels (17-2, 6-0) who continue their surprising unbeaten start in SEC play.

Like him or not, he sure is entertaining. At least that guy with the beard and the dude in a white shirt think so.
