Let this be a lesson to all you young whippersnappers (that means you Julio Franco) about getting cute with your high-and-tight throws at the batter — especially when it's 88-year-old Lew Dunlap swinging the lumber.

Dunlap was at Rockies Fantasy Camp on Tuesday when the pitcher threw a little chin music at his decades old whiskers and ... let's say old Lew wasn't happy about his at-bat almost being turned in to a black-and-blue plate special.

Good thing the umpire was there to keep feisty Lew from going all octogenarian on the pitcher's ass.
