Are these the new Jay-Z inspired Nets uniforms?

The Brooklyn Nets aren't going to have the official unveiling of their new uniforms until next Friday but, if you believe a story circulating on NBC Sports.com, photos of the new Jay-Z inspired unis have already been leaked.

A photo of the stark black V-necked top with white trim is definitely simple and clean.  The classic plain top has "BROOKLYN" across the front with the player's number underneath.

Its old school look is sure to become popular with fans tired of the blue and orange of that other New York team.

The NBC report doesn't say if the photo of the uniform with Deron Williams' number is official or not but claims Nets Daily website found the photo and posted it.

Look closely and you can see an Adidas logo on the right side, so maybe it was an inside job.

I can't wait to see what the caps look like.
