Mets finally release 'Harlem Shake' video two months too late

In keeping up with the long tradition of the New York Mets' making news for all the wrong reasons — trading Tom Seaver and Nolan Ryan then signing Bobby Bonilla come to mind— comes another moment to cringe at  — the release of the team's "Citi Field Shake" video.

On Sunday, the Mets posted their own version of the "Harlem Shake" video.  It kicks off with the team's popular public relations guru Jay Horwitz in the Mets locker room being joined what looks like every character in a costume shop at the music's jump.  Too bad the tiresome Shake craze sailed into Flushing Bay about two months after the rest of the world got sick of it.

Well, it is Opening Day. Go Mets.
