Drag racer Antron Brown might be the luckiest man alive today — and when I say alive — I mean ALIVE!
The drag racer walked away from an astonishing crash after his rail's engine blew up, turning the rig on its side and send it scraping along the wall before coming to a stop in the sand pit at the end of the drag strip at Sunday's NHRA race in Pomona, Ca.
Amazingly, Brown walked away from the fiery wreck relatively unscathed before he was taken to a local medical center and released.
Brown just defeated Dave Grubnic in the second elimination round at the Auto Club Raceway when things went wrong at the finish line.
Officials suspect the driver's life was saved by the car's safety canopy in the cockpit —a new NHRA safety feature approved just last year.
Wow thats one lucky guy
