A woman said she kept the dead body of her companion propped up in a chair in their south Michigan home for months because she didn't want to be alone.
Linda Chase, 72, said she kept the corpse of Charles Zigler cleaned and dressed while she talked to the body while watching NASCAR on television, according to The Jackson Citizen Patriot.
The best Bubba is a quiet Bubba.
Police discovered Zigler's body in a living room chair last week and believed he died of natural causes at the age of 67 in December 2010.
Chase said she thinks she's "going to prison" after admitting to police that she cashed Zigler's benefit checks after he passed away.
She also said the body never smelled bad and, better yet, probably never had to worry about him taking control of the TV remote or drinking all the beer.
Psycho anyone?
I have no business complaining about being single. I gotta get resourceful.
