The New York Yankees, with their highest pick in 22 years, took righthanded pitcher James Kaprielian out of UCLA with the 16th overall selection Monday night.
And Kaprielian brings along a little someone else with his hard-breaking curveball — namely a freestyling alter ego he likes to call "Grandmaster Kap."
Kaprielian finished fifth all-time at UCLA in career ERA (2.06) and sixth all-time in career strikeouts (275) and looks like he'll be fast-tracked to the majors.
As for laying down tracks with Jay Z, well ... in due time.
