Daily Show host Jon Stewart reacts to Mets being in 1st place (VIDEO)

It looks like Jon Stewart is going out on top and he has some improbable company.

Stewart's time hosting The Daily Show is coming to an end but now the huge Mets fan will have plenty of time to watch his beloved team make a playoff run.

On Wednesday's show the New Jersey native couldn't hold back his glee:

And it wasn't so long ago the TV host joked with Matt Harvey that when he left the show, the Mets are "all I'll have left."
