Bryce Harper tweets picture of his ingrown toenail after procedure

Bryce Harper missed Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs with an ingrown toenail and became so annoyed at people wondering what it looked like he posted a photo of the gruesome aftermath of a procedure to clip off the offending nail edge.

The Washington Nationals outfielder wrote:

"Since everyone wanted to see it! Here it is!hah."

So this is what it has come down to. Professional athletes posting photos of mundane injuries that even a Cheetos-covered couch potato can relate to.
