During the final 21 seconds of overtime in Thursday night's Sun Belt Conference game between Louisiana-Lafayette and Western Kentucky, the Ragin' Cajuns played with six players on the court and beat the Hilltoppers, 72-70.
The Cajuns scored the winning basket with 3.6 seconds on the clock even though the play they ran was a lay-up which didn't take advantage of the extra man.
None of the officials, announcers or coaches noticed that the white uniforms were outnumbered by red ones until the game was over.
If the officials had noticed Louisiana's extra player, they could have called a technical foul, called off the basket and given the ball to Western Kentucky.
Now the game will go down in the record books as a win for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Which team is raging now?
