Ominous tornado clouds move in on Texas Double-A game (PHOTO)

On Thursday night, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Royals) were set to do battle with the Frisco Rough Riders (Rangers) in Double-A ball, but Mother Nature had other ideas.

Jasen Southward was able to capture this surreal image of a tornado moving in on the Texas stadium:

According to CBS Local (DFW), the same system moved through McKinney with heavy rain and high winds which destroyed two nearby homes and blew down barns, fences and power lines.

The game was postponed during the third inning. But what amazes me is how nonchalant the players and fans are with the potentially deadly funnel cloud on the horizon.

I guess it's a Texas thang.
