Johnny Manziel watches NFL draft from a barstool before heading to Justin Bieber concert

It looks like Johnny Manziel has gone from being a draft pick to watching the draft flow after a photo of the out-of-work quarterback was posted on social media showing the former NFL quarterback watching the NFL draft proceedings from an Ohio bar Thursday night.

The Los Angeles Rams kicked off the 2016 NFL draft by selecting California's Jared Goff with the first overall pick. And while Goff became the first Cal quarterback to land in the first round since the Green Bay Packers took Aaron Rodgers at No. 24 in 2005, the troubled Manziel was seen watching the event from a bar in Columbus before the former #1 pick reportedly headed off to a Justin Bieber concert.
What a difference a couple of years make.

Shaquille O'Neal takes shot at Lakers and Clippers during Justin Bieber Roast (VIDEO)

Shaquille O'Neal was a special guest for Comedy Central's Roast of Justin Bieber on Monday, and the Biebs wasn't the only one getting burnt by the former NBA star.

The former four-time NBA champion took at a shot at his old team, the Los Angeles Lakers, reminding them just how lame their starting lineup has been recently.

And Shaq didn't let Chris Paul, who was attending the roast, or his Los Angeles Clippers off the hook either. The big guy plainly told the All-Star point guard, "You guys suck."

Manny Pacquiao records own entrance song for Mayweather fight (VIDEO)

Manny Pacquiao is pretty good at a lot of things — boxing, basketball ... did I mention boxing? Hoops aside, one talent PacMan really enjoys showing off is his love of song.

And, while the boxer prepares for his May 2 fight against undefeated Floyd Mayweather, the Filipino hit the studio and laid down a track titled “Lalaban ako para sa Pilipino” or “I will fight for the Philippines,” which he plans to use as his entrance song.

Pacquiao collaborated with composer Lito Camo on the song. Footage provided by Philippines TV station SAKSI gives us a taste of what will surely pump up the homeland crowd.

It's no Mama Said Knock You Out or even Eye Of The Tiger, but it's way better than anything Justin Bieber will be contributing to Mayweathers's camp.

Again... did I mention boxing?

Mayweather heckled by fans calling for Pacquiao fight at Clippers game (VIDEO)

Floyd Mayweather's appearance at the Clippers-Nets game with celebrity pals Justin Bieber, Beyonce and Jay Z drew a lot of attention courtside at the Staples Center Thursday night.

And maybe more than the boxer wanted.

As the undefeated welterweight champ tried to enjoy the Clippers 123-84 blowout, more than a few fans used the opportunity to heckle Mayweather about avoiding a fight with Manny Pacquaio by chanting "We want Pacquiao, we want Pacquiao."

Negotiations between the two fighters are still ongoing as the boxing world waits for some sort of confirmation of the $200 million mega fight.

Pacquiao has already agreed to Mayweather's terms for the eagerly-awaited fight which has been penciled in for May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. But the Filipino, who has given Mayweather a Jan. 31 deadline to commit, is already scouting out a potential bout with Amir Khan if a deal doesn't materialize.

Australian Open ballboy takes 121-mph serve to nuts (VIDEO)

Balls have been in the headlines a lot lately — whether under-inflated in New England or blown-up on Justin Bieber. But here is one guy who's making ball news for a public — and painful — reason.

This poor Australian Open ballboy ended up on the receiving end of a 121-mph serve from Spain's Feliciano Lopez that hit him directly in the man-zone.

Even Lopez, ranked No. 14 in the world, knew the power of his serve and had a look of real concern as the ballboy dropped to one knee.

After a collective groan of "Ohhh" from the seats, both players came over to check on him before he left the court to a round of applause — especially from all of the sympathetic men in the stands.

Chicago billboard raises stakes on USA-CAN semifinal: 'Loser keeps Bieber': PHOTO

Canada already beat the U.S. in the women's gold medal hockey final so it's likely Celine Dion is probably America's to keep. But one Chicago-area billboard has now raised the stakes so high that no red-blooded Yank will accept anything less than a victory in the men's Olympic hockey semifinal Friday.

You gotta belieb believe.

Bill Gates gets destroyed by world chess champ in 80 seconds (VIDEO)

It took newly crowned Norwegian world chess champion Magnus Carlsen just nine moves to check Bill Gates in a speed game that was aired on television Friday.

Challenged to a game during a talk show hosted by well-known Norwegian television personality Fredrik Skavlan, the billionaire Microsoft founder said before the match that the challenge had "a predetermined outcome".

Gates, who was ranked by Forbes magazine this year as the world's second-richest person, had two minutes to make his moves against just 30 seconds for Carlsen. He lost to the 23-year-old in around one minute and 20 seconds.

"Wow, that was fast," he said to Carlsen, whose rock star appeal has won him the nickname, the "Justin Bieber of chess".

I'm just guessing that moniker comes from the chess player's youthful looks and not the pop star's brains.

The television show was recorded on Wednesday in London, Norwegian TV NRK said.

Asked by Skavlan under what circumstances he felt intellectually inadequate, Gates answered: "When I play chess with him (Carlsen)".

Still, I'd rather be stupid rich.

Beckham's appearance at Shanghai stadium sparks stampede that leaves seven injured

David Beckham's appearance at a China university set off a stampede by fans that made the soccer player's publicity tour look like a Justin Bieber mall trip.

Beckham — who is being paid to make weekly trips to promote the sport as China's Global Ambassador for Football — had to cancel yesterday's visit after fans stormed the gates of the Tongji University soccer stadium in Shanghai to catch a glimpse of the retired English soccer star.

Seven people were injured as a wall of security guards and police officers were trampled by the group of over 1,000 students and youngsters.

The whole scenario seems bizarre considering the fact that the 38-year-old, married father-of-four retired in March and the worldwide Beckham craze fizzled out about a decade ago.

Beckham is being paid a small fortune for his three separate week-long tours to lend his clean-cut image to the Chinese league, which is riddled with corruption and foul play.

At Thursday's scrum, one female police officer was carried away with blood streaming from a face wound while another male officer was pictured lying on the ground unconscious with a bloody head wound.

Several delirious fans had to be restrained. In all, five security staff and two fans were injured and taken to hospital.

The event was immediately cancelled.

Joe Maddon invites Pink to Rays camp for some BP

Joe Maddon may be the loosest manager in the majors, but he has parlayed his laid back rules into a tightness with his youthful Tampa Bay Rays players. Who even knew the 59-year-old Maddon had the singer Pink on his playlist?

Maddon tweeted his fellow transplanted Pennsylvanian regrets at not being able to make Pink's show while it makes a stop in Tampa but invited the singer to come by the Rays' camp and throw out the first pitch or at least take some batting practice while she was in town.

Now we know why Maddon has no dress or hair code for his players — so he can have a similar coif as Pink — or is that Justin Bieber?

Floyd Mayweather comes out swinging against New Orleans wine bar

Floyd Mayweather is ticked off that a New Orleans wine bar took the liberty of using the boxer and Justin Bieber to attract fans and promote a pre-Super Bowl party without agreeing to appear.

According to a federal lawsuit — obtained by TMZ — Mayweather claims The Wine Bistro heavily advertised that Floyd and The Money team would be hosting the February 1 bash.  The Money team is  a nickname for Mayweather's posse — which includes Bieber, Lil' Kim, 50 Cent and Miss Jackson.

Floyd — who in the lawsuit calls himself "the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and one of the greatest technical fighters of all time" — claims he makes upwards of $100,000 for a club appearance, reports TMZ.

South Korean's controversial fencing loss blamed on 15-year old timekeeper

The heartbreaking image of Olympic fencer Shin A-lam sobbing on the piste for over an hour after being robbed of a medal because of poor time management will be etched in Olympic photo albums forever.  Now, it's been revealed that the culprit behind the gaffe is a 15-year old volunteer.

So how does the International Fencing Federation (FIE) mend the shattered dreams of an athlete who's trained for years and lost everything on a bogus call by a teenager— they offer her a "consolation prize" for sportsmanship.

I thought they outlawed child labor in England during Dicken's lifetime anyway.  The teenager is barely old enough for working papers and she's handling the clock of an Olympic sport?

The South Korean fencer lost to German Britta Heidemann in the women's epee semi-finals after the 'tween timekeeper put  one second back on the scoreboard after time had run out.  Shin was winning at the time.

Three plays later, there was still a second on the clock and Shin was on the short end of the score when time ran out.  One play in a single second second is hard enough, but three?

After waiting for over an hour in front of 8,000 screaming spectators for the judges to make a ruling, Shin was reluctantly escorted off the piste by officials.

Protests by her coaches to the FIE went unheeded and Shin was eliminated from the medal rounds.

It was a "delicate situation' said the FIE— putting it mildly.

FIE referee Kim Chang-gon had this explanation.  "I checked after the game.  It was a 15-year old British volunteer girl who was doing the timekeeping."

Heidemann, the defending gold medalist, lost in the finals to Yana Shemyakin of the Ukraine.

You don't want to put all the blame on a young girl— who is probably feeling pretty bad herself— but why would she be handling such an important Olympic job?  The FIE is the real villain here.

A fencing epee is considered to be the second fastest object— behind a marksman's bullet— in sports.  A 15-year old has the attention span of a Twitter post.  Did the FIE do the math?

Maybe if Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson were on the piste, she would have been paying attention.

Planking to the Oldies; Man Willingly Gets Planked By Richard Simmons

Richard Simmons, the 62 year-old fitness guru, is the latest celebrity to join in on the worldwide craze of "planking."  In a photo posted on Twitter by a student in one of his fitness classes, the exuberant promoter of "Sweating to the Oldies" is seen happily planking a man on a studio floor.

This isn't the first time Simmons has publicly planked.  He was recently videotaped doing the deed on a filthy Los Angeles sidewalk.  Simmons seems to enjoy his new role as planking ambassador even if his technique is a little off.  You arms should be at your sides.

"I'm planking," he shrieked.  "Then what do you do?"

Planking is the latest fad where a person lies on their stomach, stiff and expressionless with their arms at their side.  You do it in usually in unusual locations or situations.  While lying there, someone photographs the moment and posts it on the Internet.  There are thousands of web sites devoted to the "sport."

Justin Bieber is just one of the celebrities who is known to enjoy a good plank and Gordon Ramsey was spotted planking an airplane engine.  Some people probably wish it was a hot stove top.

The craze has been taken to extreme and dangerous levels.  Last month a man was killed in Brisbane, Australia after he fell six stories while planking on a hotel balcony.

The poor guy being planked by Simmons probably feels like dying after this photo hit the Internet.
