Shaquille O'Neal takes shot at Lakers and Clippers during Justin Bieber Roast (VIDEO)

Shaquille O'Neal was a special guest for Comedy Central's Roast of Justin Bieber on Monday, and the Biebs wasn't the only one getting burnt by the former NBA star.

The former four-time NBA champion took at a shot at his old team, the Los Angeles Lakers, reminding them just how lame their starting lineup has been recently.

And Shaq didn't let Chris Paul, who was attending the roast, or his Los Angeles Clippers off the hook either. The big guy plainly told the All-Star point guard, "You guys suck."

Walt Frazier calls female referee 'nice-looking' during Knicks broadcast (VIDEO)

Former New York Knicks legend and current MSG analyst, Walt Frazier, who has been known to turn a phrase, found himself in a little bit of hot water after saying two words about a female NBA referee during a broadcast.

The one-time man-about-Manhattan called Lauren Holtkamp, the female referee who worked Wednesday night's Knicks loss to the Indiana Pacers, "nice-looking."

And the comment has critics screaming louder than one of Clyde's colorful suits.

Pro Basketball Talk's Dan Feldman called for punishment and CBSSports.com's Ananth Pandian used the word "inappropriate" to describe his words. Even Frazier's on-air partner Mike Breen shook his head during the broadcast exchange.

"No, no, no, no, no," said the play-by-play man after he heard the remark.

At the time Breen was discussing Holtcamp, the first-year official who was criticized in February by Chris Paul after she handed him and his Clippers several technical fouls. Paul later said of Holtkamp, “This might not be for her,” a comment that sounded sexist to many.

Paul claimed that he was referring to her inexperience but was stilled fined $25,000 for the comment.

On the other hand, Frazier’s on-air stumbling and bumbling didn't need any explanation.

Blake Griffin, Trevor Booker tangle after flagrant foul (VIDEO)

Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker fouled Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin a little too hard under the net during the third quarter of Friday's preseason game. Griffin did not appreciate it, and the two exchanged words. Then things got a bit out of hand — or more like hands-on.

The fact that it was only an exhibition game probably didn't warrant Booker giving Griffin the cheap foul, but Griffin grabbing Booker's head probably didn't help matters.

Booker was assessed a flagrant-1, and both of them were also given technicals. Chris Paul got a technical for shoving Booker away, too.

Chris Paul's sweet moves leave Evan Fournier in a spin (VIDEO)

Clippers guard Chris Paul keeps doing things which are clearly don't seem humanly possible. Check out the sweet moves he put on the Nuggets' Evan Fournier Tuesday night.

Just a walk in the park for Paul.

Clippers win, 117-105.

Deron Williams crosses Chris Paul ... twice (VIDEO)

For the past couple of seasons Deron Williams has let Chris Paul carry the title of "best point guard in the game" without any question. These two used to have a rivalry and on Thursday at Barclays Center, D-Will rekindled the conversation.

Williams began the night badly by falling to the floor after being victimized by a crossover from Paul. The fact that he stepped on the foot of teammate Brook Lopez was what ultimately caused him to tumble, but Paul’s action at least sent Williams plopping to the floor.

But in the second quarter, Williams seemed to regain his stride, crossing up Paul twice to get open for scores. Williams owned the end of the second quarter when the Nets took control of the game, putting up 12 points in less than 6 minutes.

Williams' overall numbers weren't that impressive — 15 points and 4 assists — but he put Paul  and the rest of the league on alert by leading the Nets to an easy win.

And for at least one night the debate raged on.

To be fair, here's CP3's move on D-Will.

Tony Allen ejected for kicking Chris Paul in face (VIDEO)

Tony Allen earned a flagrant foul call and an ejection Monday night after giving Chris Paul a close-up view of his new sneakers.

Allen's foot caught the Clippers guard in the face as Paul drove the basket in the first quarter of the Memphis-L.A. game at Staples Center, and after reviewing the play officials were left with no choice but to eject the Grizzlies player.

Paul seemed to be fine; he made both free throws after the foul and scored a bucket on the Clippers' retained possession.

Get your DeAndre Jordan dunk on Brandon Knight poster now

LeBron James has called DeAndre Jordan's amazing monster jam over Brandon Knight the "Dunk of the year" and the game-stopping moment has taken on a life of its own.  The Staples Center slam, after an alley-oop pass from Clippers teammate Chris Paul, has been debated and shown ad nauseam on ESPN and already immortalized in The New Yorker.

Now you too can get posterized by Jordan and not feel any of the humiliating aftereffects and all you need is a credit card.

It didn't take long to find a photo — of what will become this Jordan's iconic image over the course of his career — to freeze-frame the play for eternity.  The photo of Jordan's dunk is already for sale at the NBA Store.com/photo and an 8x10 can be had for $14.99 ($69.99 framed).

Although there is nothing fancy about the dunk, the raw power of Jordan and the mismatched attempt to block the shot by the Pistons' Knight make it legendary.

Probably more so to Clippers fans.

Howard put on Kobe's uniform and mocked teammate in All-Star locker room

If you thought relations between Kobe Bryant and Lakers' teammate Dwight Howard had reached a truce during the All-Star weekend in Houston — think again.

Despite some some recent light moments between the two adversaries, sources report that Howard mocked Bryant behind his back in the locker room where he "grabbed Kobe's uniform, put it on, and imitated him in front of all the other players on the West team.  He was joking and berating Kobe" to fellow NBA stars, including Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant, according to Page Six of The New York Post.

Big man in a little top.

The source said Bryant later arrived in the locker room, "said hello to everyone on the team except Howard, grabbed his stuff and moved as far away from Howard as he could."

Despite a recent clear-the-air meeting in Memphis, relations between the two Lakers' stars hasn't improved .

At the All-Star Game, Bryant said, "It doesn't matter" what his team does with Howard as the trade deadline nears.  Ouch.

Neither Bryant or Howard returned calls to The Post.

Carmelo to Knicks: Don't put Shumpert on trading block

Carmelo Anthony wasn't happy to hear about rumors surrounding Iman Shumpert that the New York Knicks were tendering trade offers for the struggling swingman.

"He shouldn't be worrying about that," Anthony said. "The Knicks shouldn't even be in trade talks right now."

Shumpert — who has had a rough time since his return from ACL surgery — was just plain dismal guarding guard Chris Paul in Sunday's 102-88 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.  Shumpert scored just two points on 1-of-4 shooting in almost 21 minutes of play while Paul blistered the Knicks for 25 points and seven assists.

Talk about trading the young defensive stud to Phoenix for Jared Dudley and a first-round pick are getting louder.  So loud, head coach Mike Woodson pulled Shumpert aside before the Knicks debacle against the Clippers.

"He said, 'Don't worry about it,'" Shumpert recalled.  "Rumors are rumors. I just got to play ball.  something I can't control."

Woodson said a trade was out of his jurisdiction and up to Knicks brass.

"I don't think you can ever tell a player he's not [on the trading block].  That's kind of out of my hands," said Woodson. "If the owners came to me and said we have to do a deal, then you do the deal. I sat him down and I told him. He knows how I feel."

Shumpert discussed the Paul game and his recent slump.

"It's a challenge to guard a guy like Chris Paul when you're not in the best form," said Shumpert. "Sooner or later, I'll get back to where I was."

If it's up to 'Melo, it'll still be in New York.

Cruz, 'Melo & CP3 join Hollywood stars to make video calling for end of gun violence

One week after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting tragedy, a few sports stars joined up with over two dozen A-list celebrities to make a video calling for the end of gun violence.

New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul are among the personalities in the video titled "Demand A Plan to End Gun Violence."

Coincidentally or not, it was released the same day NRA vice president Wayne LaPierre blamed Hollywood for promoting violence.

The actors, musicians and athletes star in the 80-second black-and-white clip that is sure to go viral. Each person lists the scenes of some of the worst shootings in recent U.S. history starting at Columbine High School, the Aurora, Colo. movie theater and ending at Newtown, Conn..

Among the various celebrities speaking in the video are Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Julianne Moore, John Hamm, Will Ferrell, Chris Rock and Steve Carell.

The Demand A Plan campaign is run by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, co-chaired by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Cruz took some time to offer comfort in the Newtown shooting by visiting the family of slain 6-year-old Jack Pinto — who said the Giants receiver was his favorite player.

Every little bit helps.

Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler only makes All-Defensive Second Team

Was Tyson Chandler slighted with his All-Defensive Second Team selection? For the New York Knicks center, the second straight  Second Team pick is nice— if not a bit perplexing— especially since he was already named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year.

Since that award is voted on by the media, the All-defensive Team honor comes from all 30 NBA coaches with one important rule— coaches can't vote for their own players.

Dwight Howard— who had won three DPOY awards prior to this season— was nominated to the first team in Chandler's place.  He was joined by LeBron James and shot-blocking phenom Serge Ibaka and guards Chris Paul and Tony Allen.

Chandler was joined on the second team by Kevin Garnett, Luol Deng, Rajon Rondo and Kobe Bryant.

Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin was confused by the slight and even questioned the logic behind Chandler's snub via Twitter.

Lin tweeted: "im no genius or anything but someone explain how @tysonchandler is defensive player of the year but not make the nba all-defensive team."

He did go to Harvard.

Chandler did have more points (36 overall and 13 first-team votes) than both Allen and Paul, but since only one center can be nominated per team, the honor went to Howard (16 first-place and 41 overall points).

If it was any consolation to Chandler, his teammate rookie Iman Shumpert received honorable mention after getting one first-place vote and 13 overall.

Howard's team, the Orlando Magic actually regressed from one of the top-three defensive teams to No. 13 last season while Chandler helped turn the Knicks into defensive force.

Chris Paul Appears on "Family Feud" and Gets Buzzed

New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul—and four members of his family— appeared on the game show "Family Feud" Tuesday and the audience found out the four-time All-Star doesn't like smelling bad.

One of the survey's questions asked by host Steve Harvey was, "What is it a man might not want a woman he's hitting on to know he's wearing?" The NBA star's answer, "Musk...you stink."  Sound the X buzzer.

Bad answer.  Bad answer.

Paul and family members C.J., Robin, Charles and Rhonda—who were playing for charity— lost to the O'Hara family—a group of women which included a pro-football player and a cop.

Harvey called Paul the "nicest point guard playing ball today" and was glad to have him on the show, "in the flesh."

While Paul's team didn't get many right answers, the survey says New York Knick fans are hoping his next family includes Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony.

Carmelo Anthony Wraps Up China Tour With Furry Friend

New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony just wrapped up his promotional excursion through China, as part of the Jordan Brand Flight Tour, and made a new friend he tried to bring back to New York City with him.  Sadly for Knicks fans, it wasn't New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul.

The Knicks forward posted a picture of himself holding a cuddly panda bear on his Twitter account--and, although David Stern comes to mind, no it wasn't him.

'Melo, Paul and Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade just finished a week-long, four-city itinerary of China for the Jordan brand; which celebrates basketball in local communities.  The three NBA stars made stops at basketball camps and skills clinics to sign autographs and promote the game-- and the Michael Jordan sneakers over 300 million basketball fans will see and now be screaming for.

The big-three were treated like rock-stars and mobbed by thousands of screaming fans.  Yao Ming, you did a good job of bringing the NBA to the people's Republic.

The Knicks star and his fellow good will ambassadors each had their own shoes to promote for the tour.  Anthony's was called "Explosive" and based on a Chinese opera.

No word yet if Anthony signed with a Chinese team or if he and the free-agent-to-be Paul discussed the possibility of playing together for the Knicks.

Amar'e Stoudemire To Produce Hollywood Fright Flick

Amar'e Stoudemire must be counting on an NBA lockout next season.  It's not like the New York Knicks forward doesn't already have enough projects on his plate, but now you can add the title of film producer to his resume.  The Knicks star will be going Hollywood and producing "The Strangers 2," a sequel to the scary 2008 original "The Strangers."

No, the followup isn't about Isiah Thomas returning to the front office or the playoff sweep by the Boston Celtics--even thought both of those story-lines are pretty spooky to Knicks fans.

Stoudemire is in talks with Relativity Media honcho Ryan Kavanuagh to executive produce "The Strangers 2."  In other words, Stoudemire is putting money into the production and will get a director's chair with his name on it.
