Sounders reserve player gives opponent double-nut shot (VIDEO)

Kicks to the groin are usually accidental but, in this case, there's no doubt Seattle Sounders FC 2's Sergio Mota intentionally took aim at his opponent's boys — and used two feet to make sure he didn't miss.

During Thursday's game between the Sounders 2 and the LA Galaxy II, Mota kicked a defender in the groin with both of his spiked feet and, amazingly, only received a straight red card for the foul.



Funny how nut shots are always painful to see but, for some reason, they seem fun to watch again and again.

When Shaun Livingston ran up against a slightly taller Dirk Nowitzki in the post Saturday night, the Warriors defender did something he should not have done.

Livingston was charged with a flagrant foul after turning Nowitzki's boys into a couple of speedbags with a well-placed uppercut.

And as you can see in the video below, the Mavericks star wasn't happy about getting "Dirked."

Surprisingly, Livingston wasn't ejected for the intentional groin-shot.

Australian Open ballboy takes 121-mph serve to nuts (VIDEO)

Balls have been in the headlines a lot lately — whether under-inflated in New England or blown-up on Justin Bieber. But here is one guy who's making ball news for a public — and painful — reason.

This poor Australian Open ballboy ended up on the receiving end of a 121-mph serve from Spain's Feliciano Lopez that hit him directly in the man-zone.

Even Lopez, ranked No. 14 in the world, knew the power of his serve and had a look of real concern as the ballboy dropped to one knee.

After a collective groan of "Ohhh" from the seats, both players came over to check on him before he left the court to a round of applause — especially from all of the sympathetic men in the stands.

Sidney Crosby takes a skate blade to the crotch (VIDEO)

During the Pittsburgh Penguins game in Montreal on Saturday night, Sidney Crosby was briefly shaken up after he took a accidental hit to the groin by the skate of Montreal Canadiens forward Jiri Sekac.

A boot to the boys is bad enough but when it has a sharp blade attached to it — we're talking instant vasectomy.

Crosby went down in a heap but was at least able to ice it down immediately.

After groaning in soprano for a while on the bench, not only did Crosby stay in the game, he scored the winning goal to give Pittsburgh a 2-1 overtime victory.

Nori Aoki takes nut shot on missed foul ball (GIF)

The whole sequence of events on this missed foul ball by Nori Aoki looks very painful — especially the ending.

The Royals outfielder chases a foul down the right field line before sliding and missing the ball with his mitt — all before the ball hits him square in the family jewels.

Aoki looked shaken up but otherwise OK. He went on to get two hits in the game after the ball had two hits in one play.

Ouch!
