The Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL have always been one of the more creative minor league clubs when it comes to promotions. And on Saturday night, the team hosted Seinfeld Night and didn't disappoint.
Starting with the Condors players wearing jerseys that replicated the “Puffy Shirt” from a classic episode of the popular comedy down to putting some names from the show's characters on their backs — it was a fun night. Even if they didn't want to be pirates.

Gimmicks included a Kramer impersonator and Seinfeld-related promotion with a new spin on the “shoot the puck” competition that was called "shoot the marble rye."
Although the Condors lost the game 2-1 in overtime to the Idaho Steelheads, the jerseys were auctioned off for charity.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
