81-year-old man bowls a perfect game for the first time (VIDEO)

It was nearly eight decades in the making, but well worth the wait.

Ray Niedzwiecki, an 81-year-old man from Exeter, Pennsylvania bowled his first 300 on Monday night — and the whole bowling alley erupted in cheers after he rolled his 12th strike.

The octogenarian remained calm during the tense final frames  but — with bowler's name like Niedzwiecki — what would you expect?

The 10th frame drama and celebration was all caught on video. Way to go Ray.
