LeBron James wants an ‘I can’t breathe’ t-shirt for Cavs-Nets game: Report

While many eyes will be looking up at a heavily guarded private suite occupied by members of the royal family at Barclays Center Monday night, one member of NBA royalty will try and get people to notice him as a man of the people down below during pre-game warmups.

LeBron James said he is looking for a way for a way to protest the Eric Garner decision, and wants to get a "#I can't breathe" t-shirt to wear before the Cavaliers take on the Nets.

Britain's Prince William and his pregnant wife, Duchess Kate Middleton, will be in attendance for the game featuring King James himself on this already over-hyped night.

James has already spoken out about the death of Garner and a grand jury‘s controversial decision not to indict the responsible officers.

On Sunday, James was asked about the t-shirt worn recently by Bulls point guard Derrick Rose.

The message on Rose’s shirt, “I can’t breathe,” is a reference to Garner’s words as he was choked while being arrested for selling untaxed cigarettes. Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush also wore a shirt with the phrase written on it on Sunday.

“It was spectacular,” James said about Rose’s shirt, which he wore in pre-game warmups Saturday night. “I loved it. I’m looking for one.”

It shouldn't be hard to find. They’re reportedly going for $9.99 on eBay.

Will he wear it Monday at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, where the Royals will be in attendance and where protesters gathered outside just days earlier?

Even without Jay Z and Beyonce who will also be there, expect a wild scene.

Reggie Bush compares shooting of Mike Brown to Palestine: Report

Reggie Bush has been pretty outspoken about the verdict in Ferguson on Twitter the past couple of days. But on Tuesday, the Lions running back curiously compared the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown to the conflict in Palestine on his Instagram page.

Bush posted a photo of a man holding a sign with the message: "The Palestinian People know what mean to be shot while unarmed because of your ethnicity. #Ferguson #Justice."

The post suggests that unarmed Palestinians were being shot by Israel.

Bush also included the caption: "No matter who you are, what color skin you have, where you live, we are all in this together! This isn't a Ferguson problem it's a Global Problem! We need change NOW! What happened to humanity? #JusticeForMikeBrown."

While the 29-year-old Bush has every right to voice his opinions regarding the verdict handed down in Ferguson, comparing it to the Middle East bloodshed might be a reach.

Bush, who famously dated reality star Kim Kardashian for two years, made the comment late on Monday. It was liked by more than 14,000 of his followers on Instagram.

Within minutes of Monday’s Ferguson verdict, NBA star LeBron James used social media to express his remorse for the family of dead teenager Michael Brown and the chaos that followed.

The grand jury’s decision not to prosecute police officer Darren Wilson was announced on Monday evening during the Cleveland Cavaliers' 106-74 win over the Orlando Magic.

After the game, James took to Twitter to voice his frustration at the situation in Ferguson by tweeting a drawing of Brown and Trayvon Martin walking arm-in-arm.

Magic Johnson expressed his disappointment with the situation in Ferguson by tweeting: "We must work together to stop the unnecessary loss of young men of color. Justice was not served in Ferguson."

Reggie Bush gets last word after Cromartie calls him a 'punk'

Hurricane Sandy wasn't the only blast of wind swirling around New Jersey this weekend.  While New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie was basically a lot less blustery than his teammates,  who talked trash all week leading up to the game against the Miami Dolphins, it was Cromartie who created a post-game storm by calling Reggie Bush a "punk."

You think after being completely dominated in a 30-9 blowout at the hands of the Dolphins, Cromartie would pipe down.  But the outspoken Jet had a few choice words for his pregame target.

"At the end of the day, we know his true colors," said Cromartie.

Cromartie was specifically looking back at a play early in the game when Bush ran down the sideline and shoved the cornerback with a legal stiff-arm to the face for a 19-yard gain.  Their momentum carried both players out of bounds.  Cromartie hopped up and pushed Bush and then went in for a head butt.

The Dolphins running back walked away but both players continued jawing with each other.

After the game, Bush had the last — and definitive — word via Twitter.

"Great team win!  Dominated in all phases today! Enough said," Bush tweeted.

Cromartie's shove resulted in a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty that led to a Dolphins' field goal.  To add injury to insult, Cromartie revealed later that he had dislocated his pinkie finger on the  play.

The hot-tempered Jet defended his actions.

"I didn't lose my composure.  I just called him a punk.  That's exactly what he is," said Cromartie.  "I didn't head butt him.  I pushed him first before I head butted him."

Say what?

Jets linebacker clarifies remark on injured Reggie Bush

A day after New York Jets linebacker Calvin Pace's remarks made it sound like his team had put out a bounty on Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush, Pace claimed his comments were taken out of context and misunderstood.

Bush injured his left knee right before halftime and didn't take the field for the rest of the game.  After the Jets emotional 23-20 overtime victory over the Dolphins, Pace was asked about Bush's injury and said, "I guess he was doing his thing for a quarter or two.  We had to put him on out.  I didn't see him again."

On Monday, Pace threw out the notion that the comment was referring to a New Orleans Saints-like "bounty" arrangement.

"I wasn't trying to say it as if we were trying to hurt him," Pace said.  "I'm sad to see him get hurt.  We aren't running any kind of bounty system or anything like that.  Actually, just looking at the play, somebody just kind of fell on his knee.  It wasn't anything malicious ... I guess I need to say things in a different manner.  I'll do a better job of it next time."

Pace sounded like he was trying to say that Gang Green's defense had to keep hitting Bush to wear him down.  Bush gained 61 yards on 10 carries before he got hurt running out the clock before the half.

An MRI showed that Bush knee suffered no structural damage but his return to the field is unclear.  He could suit up this Sunday against Arizona if his the swelling goes down.

Calvin Pace on Reggie Bush: 'We had to put him on out'

Following the New York Jets dramatic 23-20 overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins Sunday, Jets' linebacker Calvin Pace had this to say about Reggie Bush after the running back injured his knee right before the second half: "I guess he was doing his thing for a quarter or two.  We had to put him on out.  We didn't see him again."

On Monday, Pace's quote now asks the question of whether the Jets sought to injure the Dolphins' rusher — especially after Rex Ryan joked that the Jets might have to "put some hot sauce" on Bush, in the days leading up to the Week 3 Game.

"Obviously, we have to do a great job of getting a lot of guys to him and getting him on the ground," Ryan joked last Wednesday.  "Put some hot sauce on him, if you will."

The implication of Pace's quote, some may feel, is that the Jets defense intentionally sought to injure Bush.

Bush suffered the left knee injury trying to run out the clock before the half.  He did come out of the locker room in full uniform, ready to play in the third quarter.  He had already gained 61 yards on 10 carries but did not take the field in the second half.

The Dolphins running back was coming off a 172-yard performance in Week 2 but did not handle the ball in the second half or overtime.

Replays of the play that knocked Bush out of the game didn't reveal any cheap shots or illegal plays by the Jets.  He could play again by Sunday against Arizona, according to ESPN, and the injury is not considered season-ending.

Still, in Roger Goodell's NFL, players have to watch what they say.

Giants new LB Keith Rivers picks up woman in ER

Manhattan's Roosevelt Hospital was the site of another sports star sighting yesterday.  After Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young finished detoxing  before his Friday morning arrest for assault,  New York Giants newest linebacker Keith Rivers was spotted carrying a sick female friend out of the mid-town hospital after a night of clubbing with Reggie Bush.

The New York Post reported that after sober-looking Rivers arrived at the hospital at 9:30 a.m. yesterday, he gave his name to security, walked inside and left with the woman.

Roosevelt is the same hospital where a "highly intoxicated" Young was treated early Friday morning after he went on his anti-Semitic rage and pushed some guy outside the Hilton hotel.

That same morning, at about 10:30 a.m., Rivers— who told reporters Young was not the reason he was there— was seen leaving the hospital with an attractive brunette in her mid-20's.  She was wearing high heels and a short skirt which looked like the the same clothes she was wearing the night before.

The unidentified young woman appeared haggard and her make-up smeared after a rough night.  Rivers protectively put his arm around her and walked here down the street said The Post.

When asked if he had seen Young in the ER, Rivers replied, "I am dealing with my own problems."  Then he and the woman jumped into a cab and sped away.

It seems like they all speed away.

A few hours earlier Rivers and a group of his friends had met up with Bush at celebrity hangout Lavo.  Both guys played football together at USC.

Bush and Rivers— who did not appear to be drinking— hung out at the club until 3 a.m. at tables near Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.  Luck was reportedly celebrating being the No. 1 pick of the NFL Draft on Thursday night.

It sounds like Kanye West has a lot of things to get off his chest and he doesn't hold back his latest single "Theraflu."

Tomorrow marks the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays— his weekly tradition of premiering songs by himself and his friends and the singer lets it all hang out.

"Theraflu" reads like a gossip column and has a second verse that touches upon his love for Kim Kardashian while trashing her ex, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries.

Kanye claims he could have had Humphries dropped from the team.

The track— released Wednesday night— also touches on his ex, model Amber Rose and her current flame, rapper Wiz Khalifa.

Blake Griffin is Odds-On Favorite to be Kim Kardashian's Next Suitor

It's barely been a week since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, but bookmakers are already placing odds on who will be the reality star's next date.

Several off-shore gambling houses have opened up wagering on who will be Kardashian's next suitor and it looks like an eclectic mix of athletes and entertainers are at the top of the odds board, according to the New York Daily News.

Blake Griffin has been installed as a 5-1 favorite to be the successor to Kris Humphries as the next man to have his life exploited by the Kardashian clan.

Why not?  Griffin has a lot of the qualifications the shamelessly, self-promoting Kardashian seems to admire.  He's highly visible, bi-racial and plays a professional sport.

Caution to all wagerers, the NBA players are still locked out— so Griffin might have too much time on his hands— and we know how that turned out with Humphries and KK the last time.

The over/under for how long a Blakarshian/Kardashifinn (?) relationship would last is the same as the probable length of the NBA season and her last marriage—72 days.

Kanye West has been installed as a distant second at 8-1, while former flame, NFL running back Reggie Bush is being touted, along with actor Ryan Reynolds, as 10-1 odds.

Save your money on longshots Usher (12-1) and Derek Jeter (14-1), but tuck a little away for dark horses George Clooney and Justin Timberlake.

Reggie Bush Dating Kim Kardashian Lookalike According to Kim K Lawsuit

It looks like Reggie Bush has a type; even if former-girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her lawyer may be the only ones who think so.

According to the New York Daily News, Bush, who split with Kardashian last year, is rumored to be dating Melissa Molinaro, an actress who is at the center of a lawsuit filed against Old Navy by Kim K.

The suit claims Molinaro looks too much like the reality TV star in the clothing store's ad campaign.  Bush's new squeeze is accused by Kardashian's attorney of mimicking Kim K in the television ads which ran last winter.

Even if most people didn't see the immediate resemblance, Bush--the former USC and current NFL player-- must have.  Molinaro is said to be dating Kardashian's ex.

Kardashian, who claims her sultry looks are a famous brand, filed suit yesterday against the clothing giant Old Navy who used the buxom Molinaro in the advertisements last February.

Yesterday, Gary Hecker, an attorney for Kardashian, filed suit in a U.S. District court against Old Navy for compensatory and punitive damages for "unauthorized use of Kardashian's name, identity and likeness."

"We're seeking damages according to proof," said Hecker. "Kim Kardashian is immediately recognizable and known for her look and style.  Her identity and persona are valuable.  When her intellectual property rights are violated, she intends to enforce them."

The sexy actress said the comparisons to Kim K started after the ad first aired.  In the spots she is seen dancing and lip-synching.  The ad has attracted more than 2 million views on YouTube.

For those wondering why Kardashian waited so long to file the suit over the clone and if it is some sort of  jab at her ex, the newly-engaged Kim K said," I worked hard to support the products I'm personally involved with and that I believe in."  She just recently signed a deal with Sears.

If you think all curvy, full-bottomed, pouting brunettes look like Kim Kardashian, she might have a case.  Apparently Reggie Bush likes the look.

Old Navy has not commented.
