A cameraman escaped serious injury after an air born, out-of-control drag racing car careened into the helpless man behind a video-cam. The lucky videographer avoided the flying debris by hopping over the divider wall onto the track and was not injured.
The unbelievable wreck happened during a qualifying run at a track in Bristol, Tenn..
With only seconds to move, the quick thinking cameraman got away with his life got some spectacular footage of the crash to boot.
Lizzy Musi, the 21-year-old woman behind the wheel of the racing car, simply said she lost control after— amazingly— walking away from the mangled pile of metal.
The dragsters in this class of racing can hit speeds of over 170 mph in less than three seconds.
Good thing the cameraman's reflexes were even faster than that.
