Henrik Stenson's Masters meltdown in 8 easy steps

Henrik Stenson's epic collapse on the final hole of the Masters first round yesterday, ruined what looked like a magnificent 17 holes of play and wiped out what could have been a first place tie for the lead.

The Swede made it look easy on the front nine, with two eagles and a birdie to get a 5-under.  That's where he stood when he got to the 18th hole.  His drive on 18 went into the woods.

Stenson's second shot hit a root.  His third shot off the pine needles barely made it to the green and then he three-putted for an ugly 8.

He ended up with a 1-under 71 for the day.  Lee Westwood was the first-round leader with a 5-under 67.

Here is video of Stenson duffing it up in all of its shortened agony.
