Jason Day just might have a thing against those tiny rotor-powered nuisances in the sky known as drones.

The PGA golfer was shooting promo videos involving Adidas' Boost golf shoes when he inadvertently became the new poster boy for the anti-drone movement.

The plan was simple — tie a piece of Boost cushion material to a drone, fly it into the air, and have Day hit the material with a nine-iron shot.

Premier League superstar Luis Suarez is hoping that a new style of adidas shoes will put an end to his mini scoring slump.

Suarez will team up with the athletic apparel giant to unveil their new Samba primeknit limited edition soccer shoes that "combines the comfort and responsiveness of playing barefoot with the protection of a traditional design." Suarez will have the honor of testing them out in a game situation.

The innovative design of the boot has an upper part that is knitted from heel-to-toe using the Samba colors of green, pink, blue and orange, providing a lighter second-skin fit that retains the strength of a conventional shoe. 

Just like the booties grandma used to purl.

The Liverpool striker, who is the Premier League's top scorer with 23 goals, will be the only player to wear them when they officially launch next month.

And he will debut them in one of the biggest games of the season when Liverpool takes on Manchester United at Old Trafford on March 16.

The 27-year-old Suarez has not scored since January 28, when he notched a goal in the 4-0 win over Everton — and the goalless run now stretches to five games.

Only 150 pairs of the $360 shoes have been made and are certain to be snapped up immediately when they go on sale 24 hours later, on March 17.

No if, ands or “butts” about it, Brazilians love their soccer … and their ladies' bumbums as well.

Now, in tribute to Brazil's two biggest passions and in advance of the World Cup, adidas is marketing a pair of tee shirts that play off stereotypes of oversexed Brazilians — and getting criticized for it.

A couple of months before the country begins hosting the soccer tournament in June, the sports equipment giant, has released a pair of tee shirts inspired by Brazil’s reputation for sexiness, reported The Huffington Post. 

One offending shirt features an image of heart that appears to double as a woman’s behind with a thong, while another depicts a thin-waisted woman with a full-figured rear against a Rio de Janeiro backdrop and the words “Looking to Score.”

The “Looking to Score” message presumably refers to both soccer goals and having sex with Brazilian women.

The head of the Brazilian Tourism Board Flávio Dino blasted the shirts in comments to the local press, saying they would encourage illegal activity.

“We don’t accept that the World Cup be used for illegal practices, like so-called sexual tourism,” Dino told Brazilian news agency O Globo. “We ask that Adidas put a stop to the sale of these products… Brazil has harsh laws to deal with sexual abuse and the police will act on these cases in the national territory.”

The quest to find the best bottom in Brazil has become tradition and happens every November in the Miss Bumbum contest. Miss Bumbum has a huge following in the country and around the world. The titleholders often go on to become national celebrities.

Its new counterpart, Miss Butt World Cup aims to find the Brazilian beauty with the best behind before the first goal is scored.

Adidas did not immediately return a request for comment.

Three major shoe companies are reportedly battling to sign Italian soccer star Mario Balotelli to a new shoe contract. In the meantime, Balotelli has gotten creative while deciding whose shoes he'll be wearing.

After playing several games for AC Milan with his boots completely blacked out, Balotelli unveiled new cleats on Monday that were completely covered in newspaper, featuring headlines from moments from his well-documented soccer career.

The most prominent headline is "WHY ALWAYS ME?" which refers to the famous undershirt Balotelli revealed after scoring a goal against Manchester United.

It is believed that Nike, Puma, and adidas are competing to sign the soccer star and, as long as the controversial Super Mario is playing, there will never be a shortage of headline material for these kicks.

Beckham will retire TONIGHT wearing specially-designed adidas shoes: Report

David Beckham will finally call it a career tonight — instead of next week — after Paris Saint-German's final home game of the season against Brest. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid international soccer star announced his retirement from the game on Thursday and it was thought initially that Beckham would bow out next weekend in PSG's final game of the season at Lorient. But sources close to the superstar have confirmed that this evening's game in the French capital will in fact be his last, according to Sportsmail.com.

To celebrate the special occasion, Beckham's family are set to join him at the Parc des Princes and see him start for Carlo Ancelotti's Ligue 1 champions.

And Becks will hang up his cleats in style. The 38-year-old will say his farewell in specially-designed patriotic red, white and blue shoes with the names of his children and initials of his Victoria emblazoned on them.

Every aspect of the new Predator Lethal Zone boots were personalized by Beckham on the adidas.com website, proudly paying homage to his kids and nationality.

Beckham captained the England team 155 times and is considered one of the main forces which helped London secure the 2012 Olympics.  He specifically chose the red, white and blue colors to represent the Union Jack, with the flag embossed on the heel.

The boots also feature the names of his four children - Romeo, Brooklyn, Cruz and Harper as well as the shirt numbers from his playing career: 7, 23 and 32

"This is truly a special moment for me and I'm happy that my longest serving partner, adidas was able to work with me to commemorate the moment," Beckham said about the special shoes."'What I really wanted to come across was the passion I had playing for my country and the pride that gave me."

The trailblazing soccer star —  who also played AC Milan and Los Angeles Galaxy — is now set to continue his ambassadorial duties with a variety of organizations, which include Sky Sports, adidas, Unicef and promoting football in China.

"Nothing will ever completely replace playing the game I love, however I feel like I'm starting a new adventure and I'm genuinely excited about what lies ahead.

"I'm fortunate to have been given many opportunities throughout my career and now I feel it's my time to give back."

Having relocated from Los Angeles in January, the man who inspired a movie and posed in his knickers, Beckham is now expected to set up a permanent home in London with his wife Victoria and children. 

It seems only right for England's biggest sports export.
