Snoop Dogg paid his 6-Year-old son $2K to play football (VIDEO)

Cordell Broadus is a 2015 4-star wide receiver (according to 247Sports' composite rankings) but, right now, he is most notable for being rap legend Snoop Dogg’s son. And while your childhood is probably different growing up in Snoop Dogg's world, it doesn't come without it's benefits.

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Broadus said that when he was six years old, his dad gave him $2,000 to play football.

The young Broadus — who now stars at Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas — did not originally want to play football because he was more interested in acting.

Snoop asked his son what he had to do to get him to play football and Broadus threw out the two-grand sum, which he received in an envelope. After receiving one grand the next year, Broadus said he insisted on playing for free.

One grand buys enough video games, I guess.
