Female powerlifter throws up on judges during weightlifting competition (VIDEO)

A female weightlifter competing at the Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships put maybe a little too much oomph into her lift when she projectile-vomited towards a row of judges sitting in front row of the Florida event.

The powerlifter, who is known on social media as BlondeBeautyBri, has since become a viral sensation for her unfortunate experience at the Port Saint Lucie competition, also known as the "Rum9."

In the video clip, the woman happily approaches the weights and after performing a little dance, lifts the weights then, out of nowhere, spews in the direction of the judges sitting in front.

The judges on the front row can be seen moving their chairs back quickly in order to avoid the spray — but not before the woman completes the lift and successfully manages to lock the weights at waist height.

BlondeBeautyBri showed that she had a sense of humor and later posted the barfing video to her own Instagram page.

Hopefully, hurling won't become an Olympics weightlifting category, but I would at least give her a 10 for distance.

14 year-old sets national weightlifting record (VIDEO)

A 14-year-old weightlifting phenomenon wowed a national audience once again this weekend by breaking one of USA Weightlifting’s oldest records.

In his third attempt Saturday at the U.S. National Weightlifting Championships in Salt Lake City, C.J. Cummings broke the American men’s clean-and-jerk record for the 62-kilogram (about 137-pounds) division of 152.5 kilograms (about 336 pounds) set in 2002 by LeGrand Sakamaki,  who was then 25. Cummings lifted 153 kilos (337.3 pounds) to his shoulders and then overhead, after he weighed in at 136 pounds.

It's an amazing record for a sport that mostly goes unnoticed in this country.

No lifter Cummings’ age has ever broken a national record in the history of USA Weightlifting. In fact, the South Carolina high school student has broken nearly every weightlifting record he has encountered and has been declared the strongest male his age in the world by international weightlifting officials.

Cumming's coach, Ray Jones, praised the burgeoning star, "Nothing has changed. The bottom line is the same. C.J. has been a gift from God, and he is applying that gift to the best of his ability."

They both now have their sights set on the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Dude almost breaks neck trying to bench press a lot of weight (VIDEO)

First rule of Weight Club: Use a spotter. Second rule of Weight Club: Don't videotape your own demise.

New rule of Weight Club: You do not talk about Weight Club.

This dude, who looks like elbow-locking 200 pounds would be a struggle, tried to bench press what looks to be at least 350 lbs without a spotter — to nearly disastrous results.

The guy almost breaks his neck after his left arm gives out before he almost chokes to death with the bar pinned across his throat.

Luckily, he was okay. Ego? Not so much.

180 lbs of weights come crashing down on woman's neck during crosslifting session (VIDEO)

This is the heart stopping moment 180-pounds of weights comes crashing down on a woman’s neck, sending her face forward during a cross-lifting competition.

The dramatic video of the failed weightlifting attempt happened during a Crossfit exercise session that is now popular among millions of men and women around the world.

In the clip, published on LiveLeak, the woman lifts the bar but buckles under the weight as the bar slip from her hands and onto her neck. She then falls forward with her head caught beneath the bar as she hits the ground.

It is unknown where in the world the accident occurred or the extent of the woman’s injuries.

Weightlifter drops 545 lbs on his chest during failed bench press (VIDEO)

This is the painful moment a weightlifter dropped 545 lbs on himself during a failed bench press.

The man, referred to as "Jake," can be seen straining as he struggles to bench press the heavy load — weighing as much as a couple of NFL tackles — into the air.

However, he fails to sustain his grip on the weight and drops it — causing the bar to slam onto his chest.

That's  when the poor guy's female companion (who is shooting the footage) asks, "Are you ok, Jake?" — to which he replies with a series of groans.

The video ends with the weightlifer being checked over by spotters, while a man can be heard warning: "Do not bring him up. Do not stand him up."

Despite being in pain, Jake escaped without any broken bones or serious injuries.

Weightlifter buckles while lifting heavy load (VIDEO)

This weightlifter took on a little more than he could jerk when he attempted to hoist what looks like at least 400-pounds over his head — probably about 200 L-Bs more than the guy weighs. The dude gets the bar to his chest (the easy part) but you can see his knees wobble and legs give out when it's money time.

No word on if anything but his ego was broken.

Weightlifter faints after dead lift attempt (VIDEO)

A weightlifter went from dead lift to dead weight when he tried heaving almost 600 pounds to his knees and fainted. The failed attempt (1:05) must have sucked all of the blood from the heavy lifter's skull and left him a little light headed.

Although the muscleman didn't lock his knees on that attempt, he still managed to take fifth-place in the 181 lb. raw division at the 2013 Kusciesko Lifting Competition, according to the video.

Earmuff the kids, as the language gets a little strong while Shaw lifts the pontoon-sized plates over his knees and locks in.

80-year-old weightlifter busted as steroid cheat

Don Ramos is one aging athlete who has found a way to cheat Father Time — but not if he's been messing with Mother Nature to do it, says the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

The latest target on the U.S.A.D.A's list: An 80-year-old weightlifter who was busted for steroids, according to The Associated Press.

The agency that brought down Lance Armstrong announced a two-year suspension for Ramos of Colorado Springs, Colo., who tested positive for steroids while attempting to set a world record in his age group at the Pan American Masters Weightlifting Championships in June.

USADA was contracted to test at the event for athletes 35 and older. The suspension means Ramos can't compete again until July 2015.

Organizers of masters events have been cracking down on doping. Two years ago, USADA suspended nine masters athletes for positive tests, including one in his 50s and three in their 60s.
