If you don't believe the San Francisco Giants team has what it takes to get to the World Series well ... then you have no faith in Hunter Pence.

The Voice of the Giants addressed the home crowd after the final game of the regular season at AT&T Park, rallying them for the playoffs. And did it in his own inimitable style.

Pence led the crowd in the “Yes!” cheer that became so popular earlier this year when Pence and his teammates were hitting home runs with some regularity.

Although his energetic pep talk started slow and awkward, it did build up to an inspiring crescendo:

The Giants may be seeing a lot of "No" when they head into their NL Wild Card Series with the Pittsburgh Pirates — especially on the road.

Pence's team will be facing the proverbial "hot team that nobody wants to face." The Pirates won 17 of their final 23 games to slide past the Giants for the top wild-card spot.

Cop snags foul ball, makes sure young Giants fan gets it (VIDEO)

One of SFPD's Finest made a nifty barehanded catch on a foul ball at AT&T Park and was determined to give away the souvenir to a young Giants fan.

The best part? When the cop yanks the ball away from a grabby adult who tried to snatch it as the officer is handing it to a little kid in a panda hat.

But the long arm of the law prevailed.

The nitwit was lucky he wasn't charged with a 10-85: Delay due to stupidity.

A young Giants fan takes a spill and injures his knee after a ground-rule double bounces into the right-field stands at AT&T Park Monday night.

After a few tears, his arm goes up clutching the prized souvenir to the cheers of the crowd.

The scrapes will go away — but memories of the catch will still linger.

Man stabbed to death after Giants and Dodgers fans fight near AT&T Park

A man was stabbed to death after a fight broke out near San Francisco's AT&T Park, where the Giants were playing the Los Angeles Dodgers, authorities said.

Police tell KNTV the victim was in a crowd of Dodgers fans when the fight started shortly after 11:30 p.m. (PST) Wednesday at Third and Harrison streets near the ballpark.

Three people have been detained. Police have not released additional details.

The violence comes just three days after a teenage football fan was attacked at San Francisco's Candlestick Park during the San Francisco 49ers 27-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Other violence broke out at the game on Sunday despite an increase in security. The stadium was also the site of two shootings, beatings and fights during a preseason game two years ago.

Stadium security and fan behavior also came under scrutiny when another Dodgers-Giants matchup saw a Northern California paramedic severely beaten. Brian Stow, a Giants fan, suffered a traumatic brain injury after a beating by two men dressed in Dodgers gear following the March 31, 2012, home opener between the teams.

After spending his first seven seasons as a member of the San Francisco Giants, Brian Wilson returned to AT&T Park on Tuesday wearing Dodger blue. The 30-second ovation was a smattering of boos and cheers for the former fan favorite — with the cheers mostly coming from visiting L.A. fans.

Wilson was perfect and struck out two batters in one inning of work.

As usual, Vin Scully succinctly put the whole scenario into perspective.

During a heart-stopping moment at AT&T Park, a San Francisco Giants fan caught a foul ball in the upper deck while loosely clutching a baby and diaper bag — but the momentum nearly forces him to drop the infant and go tumbling over the row of seats in front.

Much to the delight of the fans, and relief from whom we presume is the girl's mother, he manages to stand back up with the ball in his right hand and his little girl still in his arms.

Grinning from ear to ear, the man has just enough time to collect a high five from another fan before a worried looking woman in pink takes the crying baby from him.

Safely back in the woman's arms, the little girl smiles while her Dad goes on celebrating.

The Giants went on to beat the Diamondbacks, 3-2, after Angel Pagan delivered a walk-off hit for the third time in the season, driving in the game-winning run in the 11th.

A Giants fan found himself in a real conundrum as he struggled to tape up a K sign after a Ryan Vogelsong strikeout and the broadcast camera caught the frustrated guy's every attempt to make his little letter hang correctly. As the announcers keep repeating the mantra "duck (duct) tape," the man still can't get his little letter to stay flat.

Maybe it would have worked better at Candlestick Park.

Matronly white-haired usher breaks up scrum for bat in stands

A elderly, white-haired female usher used her best finger-waving skills to break up a little tussle in the stands as Giants fans tried to stake their claim to a wayward bat at AT&T Park last night.

With tempers rising and about a dozen hands struggling to get the bat Carlos Gomez accidental flung into the stands, the matronly usher uses a stern brow and accusing finger to get the feuding fans to surrender the valued souvenir.

She also told them to sit up straight and keep their hands to themselves or she'd bring out the wooden spoon.

Fan in McCovey Cove watches Giants game from towering sailboat mast

We've seen a lot of weird things appear in McCovey Cove during Giants games over the years — UFO boats and hotdog-selling kayaks — but at least this guy gets to see the game.

This fan perched himself on the top of the mast of his large schooner so he could get a crow's nest view of the goings on inside AT&T Park.

Guess he couldn't afford tickets.

Father fails to catch foul ball, and his son isn't happy about it

Check out the angry reaction from this young boy Sunday at AT&T Park after his dad tried, but failed, to catch a hard-hit foul ball during the Giants-Marlins game.

The kid in the tiny Giants jersey vented his frustration (threw a tantrum) at his old man who dropped the ball which hit him in the shoulder.  Oddly, it was the boy who was wearing a glove and missed the play.

A panda, shark and angel paddle board race in McCovey Cove (VIDEO)

The Washington Nationals have their presidents race, the Milwaukee Brewers host a sausage sprint and the San Francisco Giants well ...  they have their panda, shark and angel paddle board regatta.

McCovey Cove outside AT&T Park has seen its share of oddities — including hot dog kayaks and UFOs — but on Monday night, there was a heated paddle board race between that trio of outlandish foam characters.

After a little rough stuff at the finish line, the angel raised his wings in victory.

San Francisco, you're weird but fun.
