Kid perfectly times foul ball bounce off dugout for great catch (VIDEO)

Baseball is all about skill and timing — even when you are just sitting in the stands.

During Sunday night's Rockies-Diamondbacks game, this young fan comes out of nowhere to snag a foul ball that bounced off the first-base dugout roof into the walkway.

The kid's perfectly timed catch was more than worthy of his arm-raising celebration and the cheers of the crowd.

One of SFPD's Finest made a nifty barehanded catch on a foul ball at AT&T Park and was determined to give away the souvenir to a young Giants fan.

The best part? When the cop yanks the ball away from a grabby adult who tried to snatch it as the officer is handing it to a little kid in a panda hat.

But the long arm of the law prevailed.

The nitwit was lucky he wasn't charged with a 10-85: Delay due to stupidity.

This dad makes an impressive one-handed grab on a foul ball for a nice souvenir while holding his child during the third inning of the Twins-Tigers game Saturday.

The sure-handed fan catches Kurt Suzuki's foul ball off of Max Scherzer like a pro and the kid doesn't even flinch.

Hope mom doesn't see this. Not exactly the best Mother's Day gift for her.

Mets fan makes nice barehanded catch, then friend swipes ball (VIDEO)

A New York Mets fan made an impressive barehanded catch of a screaming line drive off the bat of Travis d'Araud and didn't even get to keep the ball.  After snagging the Citi Field souvenir — and saving a few people seated behind him — the dude's buddy yanked the ball from his blistered hands and put it in his pocket.

Bet that high-five hurt just a little too.

During a heart-stopping moment at AT&T Park, a San Francisco Giants fan caught a foul ball in the upper deck while loosely clutching a baby and diaper bag — but the momentum nearly forces him to drop the infant and go tumbling over the row of seats in front.

Much to the delight of the fans, and relief from whom we presume is the girl's mother, he manages to stand back up with the ball in his right hand and his little girl still in his arms.

Grinning from ear to ear, the man has just enough time to collect a high five from another fan before a worried looking woman in pink takes the crying baby from him.

Safely back in the woman's arms, the little girl smiles while her Dad goes on celebrating.

The Giants went on to beat the Diamondbacks, 3-2, after Angel Pagan delivered a walk-off hit for the third time in the season, driving in the game-winning run in the 11th.

Mariners' Kendrys Morales makes sensational juggling catch in stands (VIDEO)

The 7-5 final score of Wednesday's historic 16-inning, five-hour, 42-minute game between the Seattle Mariners and the Chicago White was punctuated by a host of zeroes on the scoreboard for the first 13 innings.

Almost lost among the goose eggs of the marathon game at Safeco Field was a sensational show of concentration by Mariners first baseman Kendrys Morales in the eighth inning — which ended up being the middle of the game!

With the game obviously still scoreless and Chicago's Jeff Keppinger at the plate. On a 1-2 pitch from Mariners' starter Hisashi Iwakuma, Keppinger floated a popup down the right field line and into Safeco Field's foul territory that Morales, second baseman Nick Franklin and right fielder Endy Chavez all pursued.

As it turns out, Morales, not exactly the most athletic defender of the bunch, was the guy with the best angle, and he ended up running the baseball down as he neared the sidewall at full speed. However, as the ball landed in his glove, he was unable to put the squeeze on it due to his momentum and he sort of juggled it in the direction of the stands before barreling over a couple of fans.

For the full second or so that the baseball hung in the air, it felt like a lost cause for Morales. But he never gave up on it, and at the very last second was able to snatch it out of the air before a fan could grab it or it could hit a seat. He then tumbled head first over the wall near a railing, but held on tightly this time to record the final out of the inning with pretty spectacular flair.

To his credit, first base umpire Todd Tichenor got the call right.

All for naught though. The pitcher's duel turned slugfest was eventually won by the Sox.
