Lance Stephenson makes it drizzle at Miami strip club after loss

Indiana Pacers star Lance Stephenson came up small in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat but that didn't stop him from throwing down over one large at a roomful of nude dancers at a famous Miami strip club, reports TMZ.

According to the gossip site, the Pacers shooting guard didn't waste time before trading banging elbows with Heat players for the comfort of naked female bodies.

Just hours after Lance and the Indiana Pacers lost game 7 to the Miami Heat Monday ... the shooting guard eased his pain at King of Diamonds -- the gentleman's club where Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Rihanna frequently make it rain.

Lance on the other hand ... made it sprinkle. Our KOD sources say the 22-year-old stood in the corner most of the night, only got 2 lap dances, and dropped a grand total of about $1100. 

Not that $1100 is chump change, but typically we've seen celebs shower dancers with $5,000 to $10,000.

From the looks of this photo Stephenson might have overpaid. But with only a couple of years of NBA experience, he's still a rookie in strip club years.

Mother Nature helps goalkeeper score bizarre own-goal

Chalk this score up to a goalkeeper who messed with Mother Nature.

Italian lower-league team Delta Porto Tolle had the wind in their sails thanks to this astonishing own-goal.

They go 1-0 up against Ischia when the keeper kicks forward a clearance — only to see it carried  about 60-feet back into the goal by a freak gust of wind.

But Porto Tolle’s Serie D playoff hopes take a blow as they eventually lose 2-1.

Mariners' Kendrys Morales makes sensational juggling catch in stands (VIDEO)

The 7-5 final score of Wednesday's historic 16-inning, five-hour, 42-minute game between the Seattle Mariners and the Chicago White was punctuated by a host of zeroes on the scoreboard for the first 13 innings.

Almost lost among the goose eggs of the marathon game at Safeco Field was a sensational show of concentration by Mariners first baseman Kendrys Morales in the eighth inning — which ended up being the middle of the game!

With the game obviously still scoreless and Chicago's Jeff Keppinger at the plate. On a 1-2 pitch from Mariners' starter Hisashi Iwakuma, Keppinger floated a popup down the right field line and into Safeco Field's foul territory that Morales, second baseman Nick Franklin and right fielder Endy Chavez all pursued.

As it turns out, Morales, not exactly the most athletic defender of the bunch, was the guy with the best angle, and he ended up running the baseball down as he neared the sidewall at full speed. However, as the ball landed in his glove, he was unable to put the squeeze on it due to his momentum and he sort of juggled it in the direction of the stands before barreling over a couple of fans.

For the full second or so that the baseball hung in the air, it felt like a lost cause for Morales. But he never gave up on it, and at the very last second was able to snatch it out of the air before a fan could grab it or it could hit a seat. He then tumbled head first over the wall near a railing, but held on tightly this time to record the final out of the inning with pretty spectacular flair.

To his credit, first base umpire Todd Tichenor got the call right.

All for naught though. The pitcher's duel turned slugfest was eventually won by the Sox.

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian officially divorced

Kris Humphries is officially divorced from Kim Kardashian  — just in time for the reality-TV star to give birth to her first child, a girl, with rapper Kanye West.

The judgment was entered in a Los Angeles court Monday, officially ending the 72-day marriage between the NBA player and TV prop in 2011.

Fortunately for the expectant mom, they coincidentally signed off on the agreement a couple of weeks ahead of time.

This past Sunday marked the Season 8 premiere of E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and the big reveal of Kardashian's baby's gender.

The Brooklyn Net forward initially sought an annulment, claiming that the couple’s marriage, including a televised wedding, was based on fraud.

Al Leiter listed as an 'outside the box wildcard' replacement for N.J. senator

Al Leiter has never kept his political aspirations to himself but the YES announcer and former major league pitcher was more than surprised to find his name mentioned in a report as an "outside the box wildcard" candidate to replace the late New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg.

The former Yankees, Mets, and Blue Jays pitcher — and the pride of Toms River, N.J. — is a longtime friend of fellow Republican Gov. Chris Christie — a huge Mets fan.  Christie can appoint Lautenberg's replacement but is leaning towards holding a special election.

Leiter was listed by Philadelphia Inquirer's Matt Katz as a candidate earlier this week. When the former hurler was asked by ESPNNewYork's Andrew Marchand yesterday about it, he responded, "Who wouldn’t be interested if the governor of your state for whatever reason of their due process thought [you were] worthy, in their opinion? So, yeah, I would be interested."

After a career that included a sterling performance in the Mets' 1999 one-game playoff win against the Reds and superb bullpen work for the Yankees in the 2005 postseason, the 47-year-old Leiter became involved in politics.  He helped campaign for various candidates including George W. Bush and Michael Bloomberg.

While working as an announcer for the YES and MLB networks, he's also worked closely with Christie — he was a member of the governor's transition team and, as his bio said, he was appointed by Christie to the New Jersey Hall of Fame Advisory Commission and placed on the board of the New Jersey Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund last year.

Whether or not the Guv goes to the bullpen phone and gives Leiter a call is anyone's guess but Leiter says he would take the call.

"I would be interested, sure, but no, I have not been contacted," he said.

Lindsey Vonn drug-tested at fashion awards show

For a moment, it must have looked like New York's fashion elite were taking their shows just a little too seriously after Lindsey Vonn was pulled aside to undergo a mandatory drug-test while in a couture gown at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards Monday night.

The Olympic skier — who is training for the 2014 Winter games in Sochi, Russia — was accompanying designer Cynthia Rowley to the high-end awards ceremony (considered the Oscars of New York fashion) at Lincoln Center when representatives from the International Olympic Committee pulled Vonn aside to fill a urine sample bottle— on the spot.

According to The New York Post, sources said that Rowley and the skier — wearing a stunning, custom-made white gown from the designer, were sitting in Alice Tully Hall with other fashion luminaries — including Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang and Anna Wintour — when Vonn got a call from the IOC.

Several drug testers were waiting outside Lincoln Center, and told Vonn they needed access to the event to perform a drug test immediately. Rowley met the IOC group outside and ushered them into the hall.

"Lindsay met the IOC at the bathroom. Cynthia stood guard outside, and no one was allowed to enter the bathroom. They were in there for about five minutes," a source told The Post.

We’re told that amidst the glamorous setting, the IOC team made Vonn "pee in a cup" and tested the urine sample on the spot. She passed the test, our source reported, and the IOC staff told her to "have fun."

"Here Lindsey is in this custom-made gown, feeling like Cinderella, and she has to get up and do a drug test," joked one source.

Vonn didn’t seem rattled by it, and said afterwards: "We’re having a great time and [Rowley] did a great job with the dress."

The world champion skier is recovering from a serious knee injury and claims her rehab regimen is going well. "I get to start jumping and running soon, so that’s exciting," she said.

As for whether her boyfriend Tiger Woods is giving her rehab help, Vonn remarked: "He’s obviously been through it so he can relate. It’s good to have a strong support system."

Those little plastic bottles could end being the perfect accessory this season and nothing brings out those bright summer pastels like adding just a touch of yellow.

Quick, someone warn A-Rod to stay away from those Fashion Avenue soirees for the time being.

Rockets' Chandler Parsons turns down prom invite, sends party bus instead

Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons may have had to let down a fan when she asked him to escort her to prom, but the NBA star still made sure she had a memorable evening.

The 24-year-old basketball player sent a party bus to take Stephanie Flores and her friends to the big dance.

Parsons was first contacted by Stephanie on Twitter a few weeks ago, as she tried to convince him to escort her to prom on May 31 with a series of tweets.

When her first messages went unnoticed, she encouraged her Twitter followers to help get her noticed by sending messages to Parsons. 

After her sister Monica sent a tweet to Parsons saying: "My sis wants to make her dream come true by having you escort her to prom! She'd even love just a response," Parsons contacted the teenager and gave her the bad news he couldn't make the dance.

Stephanie, who had been excited to even receive a response from her favorite player, was astounded when the Houston Rockets and Parsons then sent the sleek party bus for her and her friends to enjoy.

She took to Twitter to post a picture of her posing outside the party bus in her prom dress, and with a Rockets' foam finger and towel.
