Christine Stanley delivers devastating spinning kick for MMA knockout (VIDEO)

MMA fighter Christine Stanley delivers a spectacular spinning kick knockout that leaves her opponent flat on her back in the ring.

And it just may be one of the best the KOs of the year.

Although it was apparently recorded as a five-second knockout, amazingly, Stanley connected on the kick just 2.3 seconds after the bell. Her opponent, Katie Anita Runyan, hit the mat after 3.5 seconds, and the referee waved it off just under the 5-second mark.

Go ahead, say it ... you kick like a girl

Former NFL cheerleader loses first MMA bout in bloody fight

Rachel Wray — the former NFL cheerleader who is making a transition to MMA — lost her first fight against fellow amateur fighter Nadia Nixon in a wild, bloody fight Friday night in Kansas City.

The beautiful blond — who traded her pompoms for MMA gloves  — lost a close split decision  at the Ultimate Blue Corner Battles for her first loss in three fights.

Nixon actually ended up looking worse, with blood covering almost her entire face by the end of the fight. Wray, who was a cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012, seemed to hurt Nixon late in the second round with heavy punches, but was unable to finish her off.

Nixon is just 1-5 as an amateur, according to Sherdog’s Fight Finder, so it’ll be back to the heavy bag for Wray. It doesn’t seem like she minds. On her Twitter account, she tweeted a photo of her and Nixon punching each other with the caption “Yes that is blood...Greatest night of my life.”

MMA's Rousey won't reveal her 'cash and prizes' for Playboy

Ronda Rousey, the face of women's MMA, has already shown a little more skin than that when she appeared in last year's ESPN The Magazine's "The Body" issue, but is making it clear she has ruled out taking it all off for any publications like Playboy.

The 26-year-old claims no official offer has been made to the wildly popular UFC Women's champion, but Rousey recently told HBO Real Sports that even a huge payday couldn't get her to doff her clothes for the cameras.

"No one should be able to see my cash and prizes for $5, okay?" she said.  "I don't care how much money they gave me."

Rousey — the undefeated bantamweight with a trash-talking mouth and devastating armbar — said she did the ESPN shoot to help promote herself and women's MMA.

"It wasn't like it was Playboy," said Rousey of the artistic shots of her body. "If you want exposure, you have to expose yourself, to some extent."

Rousey's growing success in the octagon and loyal male fanbase have made her a odd sort of sex symbol — though she is reluctant to admit it.

"I don't really see myself as a sex symbol because ever since people have started calling me a sex symbol, I haven't had a lot of sex in my life," she revealed.  "Like, it's just, it's not really working out great for me."

I bet there are a lot of smitten fans who would disagree.
