Alabama lights up traditional stogies after beating Tennessee (PHOTOS)

Call it close, but yes cigar.

It's a tradition, when Alabama beats Tennessee, cigars are smoked. And on Saturday, those stogies were lit after the Crimson Tide eked out a 19-14 win over the Volunteers in Tuscaloosa.

After two touchdowns from running back Derrick Henry, the Heisman candidate celebrated quite appropriately with his coach Nick Saban:

The host team preserved their lead after the Vols fumbled with little over a minute left in the contest:

Tennessee recruits Shy Tuttle with Beyonce on photo-shopped 'Rolling Stone' cover (PHOTO)

College coaches will do just about anything within NCAA boundaries (snicker) to recruit high school football players but, if you can get the hottest female celebrity in the world to help out — why not?

The University of Tennessee is using pop star Beyonce to recruit one of their top targets, defensive tackle Shy Tuttle of Lexington, N.C., with an ingenious photo-shopped cover of Rolling Stone magazine with him and the pop star walking together.

Even if the implied Vols fan cares more about Blue Ivy than blue chippers.

Tuttle is shown in a black Tennessee t-shirt with the caption, “Beyonce on why she thinks Tuttle belongs at Tennessee.”

Fair or foul, at least Tuttle seemed to like it enough to tweet it out:
