Festus Ezeli denies Blake Griffin at rim with authority (VIDEO)

It didn't take long for things to get frisky during the highly-anticipated Warriors-Clippers game at Oracle Arena on Wednesday night.

One of the best plays of the thrilling match-up between the two unbeaten teams happened early in the first quarter when Festus Ezeli came up with a monster block on Blake Griffin.

Watch as the Clippers bench gets ready to explode, only to see  Ezeli deny Griffin the basket.

The Warriors stayed undefeated at 5-0 with the 112-108 victory. The Clippers fell to 4-1.

Mark Jackson gets standing ovation in return to Oakland (VIDEO)

Mark Jackson returned to Oracle Arena for the first time since the Warriors beat the Clippers to force Game 7 in their first round series last spring. And the former Warriors coach — who was fired soon after on May 6 — had no idea how the crowd would react to seeing him back on the sidelines — albeit, this time as a broadcaster.

To Jackson's surprise, the moment his face appeared on the video board, both he home crowd and players erupted into cheers and gave him a standing ovation.

The Warriors' players, led by Stephen Curry gave a heartfelt welcome back. Even CEO Joe Lacob got out of his seat to applaud.

The anticipation for the game against the Cavaliers had been building all day for Jackson —  now a highly regarded color commentator for ESPN who still is being paid by the Warriors — and he was hoping LeBron James would steal the spotlight.

When James backed out of the game with an injury, the night belonged solely to Jackson.

"Incredible blessing," Jackson said on the national telecast of the game. "I'm humbled by the support of the fans and the reaction. Three years ago, this was a team that had a history of losing. To think right now to be a legitimate team to win it all, I'm extremely proud."

Warriors' Iguodala hits buzzer-beater to cap off wild victory against Thunder (VIDEO)

Andre Iguodala's buzzer-beater capped off a wild finish to Thursday night's Thunder-Warriors game, giving Golden State a 116-115 win.

Before Iguodala's game-winning bucket, Russell Westbrook sank a deep three-pointer for a 115-114 Thunder lead, turning Oracle Arena quiet as a graveyard.

But Westbrook left 2.3 seconds on the clock and the Warriors had only a sliver of hope to win. After a timeout, Klay Thompson found a breaking Iguodala, who turned and shot the fade-away prayer to stun the Thunder.

Pandemonium ensued as the Warriors mobbed their hero at center court.

Golden State is good, but had been waiting for that statement victory so far this season. Statement made loud and clear.
