Kentucky's Harrison curses out Wisconsin's Kaminsky into live mic (VIDEO)

For a kid brought up in the world of social media, it seems Kentucky star Andrew Harrison still doesn't know that the whole world is always watching or, in this case, at least listening.

After his Wildcats had their perfect season derailed by Frank Kaminsky and the Wisconsin team, Harrison used a racial slur while cursing out the Badgers star into a live microphone during a postgame podium appearance.

While a teammate was being asked a question about Kaminsky's impact on the game, the dour Harrison uttered, "Fuck that nigga" into his hand — only to have it picked up by the live mic right in front of him. 

And, unfortunately for Harrison, he said it loud enough for everyone to hear.

Harrsion later apologized for the comment and said he used it in "jest."

Kentucky officials said after the game they had no comment but they would be speaking with Harrison about his postgame etiquette.

If you don't have faith, you don't have nothing — so it goes.  But having that assurance permanently inked onto your body before the fact is another thing.

My man Tyrone had an unspecified Kentucky national championship tattooed somewhere on his hirsute body, but it's assumed to be a pre-NCAA Tournament prediction.

Don't know what the '9' stands for but if the Wildcats fall short of his expectations, old Ty could just do a comb-over with his ample body hair.

Kentucky's James Young makes incredible no-look basket for other team (VIDEO)

The college basketball season hasn't even officially started yet — and we already have a candidate for Play of the Year. Too bad it was for the other team.

Kentucky had an exhibition game against Montevallo on Monday, and while it should have been a phoned-in romp, the Wildcats James Young did his part to help keep the other team in the game.

Chasing a ball going out of bounds, Young saved the ball by throwing it behind his back. He threw it with such power and arc, though, that it went right into his own basket. Montevallo was awarded two points for Young's charitable effort.

Kentucky won 95-72.

Ref gets hit in the shnozz then lands on pom-poms

During Kentucky's rout of Georgia last night at Rupp Arena, a Bulldogs' errant pass was kicked squarely into the face of referee Antonio Payne who staggered back and fell but was lucky enough to land in a cushy pile of Wildcats cheerleaders and their pom-poms.

The wayward pass— which was accidently kicked out of bounds by a Kentucky player— seemed like one of many Georgia mistakes as top-ranked Kentucky steamrolled the Bulldogs, 79-49, to back up their No. 1 ranking.

While the Bullgogs were hitting the ref in the sniffer, Kentucky players hit 15 three-point shots.

The referee was fine— maybe too fine.

St. John's To Face Kentucky in Big East/SEC Challenge

Two of the winning est college basketball programs will hook-up next season when St. John's faces Kentucky in the Big East/SEC Challenge.  The game will be played at Rupp Arena in early December.

The Big East/SEC Challenge, which was expanded last year, will pit the Red Storm-- with the nation's #2 rated recruiting class--against a tournament-tested Wildcats squad which lost 56-55 to Connecticut in the 2011 Final Four semi-finals.

Both schools have two of the most storied programs in college basketball history.  Kentucky is the all-time NCAA men's basketball wins leader with 2052 victories and a .760 winning percentage, while St. John's is #7 on the list with 1724 wins and a .658 percentage.

Next season, St. John's will field it's youngest team in 104 years and one of the youngest in NCAA history.  Nine freshmen will be on the roster of the 2011-12 team after four senior starters from last year's team completed their eligibility.

Last year, the senior-heavy Johnnies compiled a 21-12 record and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002. 

Head coach Steve Lavin, who is battling prostate cancer, hasn't let the disease hinder his piling up of top players.  Yesterday it was announced that Arizona guard Lamont "MoMo" Jones will transfer to St. John's and could be eligible to play next season under NCAA hardship rules.

MoMo, the  Harlem product, will join the rest of the highly-touted Red Storm class including God's Gift Achiuwa, Sir' Dominic Pointer and Nurideen Lindsay--and all will be potential nominees for the 2012 All-Name team.

Kentucky will be without Brandon Knight, their star guard, who opted for the NBA.  The Wildcats will be led by Queens, NY guard Doran Lamb and a squad of experienced players.
