Wimbledon fan has freaky tennis ball haircut (PHOTO)

This Wimbledon fan showed up at the All-England Club with a haircut that just grunts to be hit with a racket.

Just wondering if this guy held up a picture of a tennis ball and told his barber: Make me look like this.

And that jaundice is a nice touch.

Novak Djokovic reduces ballgirl to tears during heated Wimbledon match (VIDEO)

Novak Djokovic may have clinched a victory after a nail-biting final set against Kevin Anderson this afternoon, but the hot-headed Serb may have lost his grip on reality during a match.

Djokovic appeared to be feeling the pressure of defending his Wimbledon championship in the sweltering heat Tuesday afternoon and, during the final match, started shouting and gesturing towards a baby-faced ball girl.

Apparently requesting his towel during the muggy afternoon match, the 28-year-old screamed in her direction and held his hands out in anger in front of the Centre Court crowd.

After wiping his face Djokovic then threw the towel back in the young lady's direction before resuming play. 

The girl was left visibly shaken and choking back tears, according to sources on the court.

After the epic match, the bullying Djokovic said he would apologize to the young lady later today. 

Serena Williams curious about Nick Kyrgios fans' 'blackface' tweets

The Aussie fans at Wimbledon have been some of the most raucous spectators in the All-England Club stands. But the last few days, they have also become the most politically incorrect on social media.

Several fans of hot-head Nick Kyrgios have been posting photos of themselves having spread Nutella or Vegemite on their face in support of Kyrgios, who is the brown-skinned son of a Malaysian-born mother.

Some critics have claimed the resulting effect has disturbing racial undertones.

Now Serena Williams is questioning how the bizarre memes of tennis fans “blacking up” their faces in tribute to the Australian bad boy have been allowed to thrive at Wimbledon.

“Oh, gosh. Really? I didn’t know that,” Williams said Monday, when asked about the fad. “I think you’re better asking the fans that question. Maybe they can give you some insight. And let me know, I’d be interested to know.”

Kyrgios tweeted his blessing to fans covering their faces in popular Australian bread spreads.

One fan, Mitchell McConachy, attempted to show his support for his tennis idol by telling Kyrgios he would volunteer to cover his face in Vegemite if the rising star replied to him through his official Facebook page.

Kyrgios was all for it, to say the least. Then it just snowballed.

Then a small legion of fans followed his example by covering their faces with Nutella. He told another fan she was “awesome” for covering her face in the hazelnut spread.

Kyrgios’ Wimbledon run ended Monday in a fourth-round defeat by Richard Gasquet.

Rufus the Hawk is watching over Wimbledon (VIDEO)

Meet Rufus, the woodland hawk and guardian of the Wimbledon skies.

Rufus patrols the airspace above Wimbledon from 5am to 9am every day, scaring off pigeons, which love to munch on the courts’ grass seeds. 

Without this noble bird, one of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments would probably be interrupted by pigeons every summer.

His handler, falconer Imogen Davis, says using Rufus as more humane and uncomplicated way to control the pesky invaders — and doesn’t hurt any of his fellow feathered friends. His intimidating stare and majestic air patrols are enough to scare the pigeons away from the courts.

“We use Rufus as a nonlethal deterrent, so he flies when he’s not hungry enough to eat the pigeons, but not full enough to ignore them either.”

Rufus is so popular with fans, he even has his own Twitter account.

Wimbledon roof has its own Twitter account

Its seems like everyone has a Twitter account these days and that includes the Wimbledon Roof over Centre Court.

After three days of dry weather, showers caused the first rain delay at the championships on Thursday and organizers decided to shut the retractable roof over the fabled court, with last year's runner-up Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland leading Mathilde Johansson of France 6-1, 4-2.

While damp play continued on some other courts, the roof took to Twitter and boasted about the perfectly dry conditions inside.

The retractable roof was installed on Centre Court in 2009, to help alleviate the perennial rain delays that often plague the tournament.

But nobody likes a braggart.
