Victor Cruz finally got a chance today to pay tribute to his
late grandmother Lucy with a special salsa dance after scoring on a perfect 80-yard pass from Eli Manning against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cruz had a lot of things to put behind him this week, the three dropped passes on opening night against the Cowboys and, more importantly, the death of his 77-year old inspiration last Monday. She was the woman who taught him to do his trademark Latin dance after a score.

After the 80-yard catch-and-run, Cruz did his end zone salsa dance and then blew a double-kiss towards the blue skies above MetLife Stadium. Everyone in the stadium yelling "Cruuuuzz" knew who they were meant for.
Cruz's TD capped off a comeback by the Giants — who trailed 24-13 and — after the two-point play, had come back to tie the game at 27.
