Bryce Harper catches fan's phone for selfie (PHOTO)

It seems like there is nothing Bryce Harper can't do on the baseball field this season.

And that includes a little good public relations.

In between the second game of a day-night double-header against the Blue Jays Tuesday, Harper spotted a fan trying to snap a photo.

"They were trying to take a selfie with me," Harper said. "I went over there and said, 'Hey, toss me the phone and I'll do it for you.'"

He told AP after the game that he enjoyed the impromptu photo session.

"Just messing around a little bit with the fans," he said. "Enjoying it with them a little bit. It's always fun."

Harper leads the NL All-Star balloting with 2.3 million votes. Looks like he just got another one.

Shaquille O’Neal is usually good for a lot of innocent fun — but the former NBA star might have gone just one joke too far and is under fire for mocking a disabled fan’s selfie.

Shaq posted a picture on Instagram of his own contorted face next to Jahmel Binion’s innocent selfie.

The post, captioned “Smile today,” earned more than 14,000 likes with former University of Michigan athlete Trey Burke and rapper Waka Flocka Flame joining in on the teasing, FOX 2 reports.

The insensitive post has been deleted. But for Binion, the damage may be irreparable.

Binion considered Shaq his basketball idol and respected his charitable works and advocacy for disadvantaged children in America.

“I’ve been getting teased since I was yay (sic) tall. People laugh at me, stare at me,” Binion said. “I was kind of hurt because I’ve always looked up to him. I’ve watched Shaq play basketball since I was (inaudible), so I was like, why are you making fun of me? He is supposed to be this role model.”

Despite the constant abuse, Binion still has a positive outlook on life. He said the cruel taunts have inspired him to start an anti-bullying campaign called Hug Don’t Judge.

White House considering selfie ban after David Ortiz tweet: Report

David Ortiz might have taken the last White House selfie ever — or at least while President Obama is in office.

Obama is considering a ban on the phone pics with White House guests after Big Papi reportedly used the opportunity to plug a corporate sponsor.

Ortiz took the controversial selfie with a smiling Obama Tuesday afternoon during the Boston Red Sox team's visit to the White House. The photo appeared to be a spontaneous moment, until it was revealed the toothy slugger has a deal with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone to perform promotional stunts —  just like the Obama photo op.

The White House already scolded Ortiz for tweeting the photo — before Samsung blasted it out to over 5 million followers.

“Maybe this will be the end of all selfies,” White House Senior Adviser Dan Pfeiffer said about the incident Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “(Obama) obviously didn’t know anything about Samsung’s connection to this.”

“Someone who uses the President’s likeness to promote a product… that’s a problem with the White House,” Pfeiffer added. “We’ve had conversations with Samsung about this and have expressed our concerns.”

After the opportunistic stunt, Samsung revealed it had a marketing deal with Ortiz and admitted that company officials had “worked with David and the team on how to share images with fans.”

Ortiz insisted he took the photo on a whim and "it had nothing to do with deals."

Now if that selfie promoted Obamacare. . .

Cute Arizona fans take riot selfie during police clash (PHOTO)

Arizona's dramatic 64-63 overtime loss to Wisconsin in Saturday night's Elite Eight encouraged many Wildcats fans to take out their frustrations and confront police in the streets around the University of Arizona's campus.

Since there was plenty of media on the scene to capture the boring rioting images, so — in the midst of all of the pushing, pepper grenades and flip-flops — these two young women found it more important to get that new millennial snapshot tradition — a selfie.

And you gotta love their feigned expressions of shock and dismay.

For a brief time, things got chaotic and a little physical before police in riot gear could clear the streets with the eye-burning projectiles.
